I thought Namek-ians didn't have genders?
Well.
Maybe it just wasn't appropriate to show their big, green shlongs on TV?
Do it in theatres. We have American blue already, let's go for a sentai colour.
They don't. that last comment is meaningless.
They haven't got boobs so they are male (this can be applied to flat womens too).
This made my day thank you :)
No Kitamuri Eri? I am disappoint.
Nyaruko: Ma-hiro-san!
Sekai ha Dark!
My thoughts exactly.
No Maaya Sakamoto => I call this list total top 25 bullshit delusions. As always.
10. Junko Minagawa (Ryoma Echizen)
mada mada dane.
No Ryoko Shiraishi as Hayate Ayasaki? I call shenanigans.
who the hell ranks this...so failed...where's youko hikasa, she's sounds sexy and hot
So... Which male characters did she voice?
I'm surprised Park, who is an ethnic Korean managed number 1.
park supporters outnumber racists, cuz even within the racist numbers there's still a lot who love park. you can love jackie chan, but hate chinese.
I don't know why you're surprised, because she's really popular among male and female Seiyuu fans in Japan.
Regarding the name order, why is it "Edogawa Conan", but "Ryoma Echizen" and not "Echizen Ryoma"?
when I first watched the Gurren Lagann seiyuu event with Saiga Mistuki in it, I really thought she was just a feminine looking guy.
Mariko Sakou (Pico, from Boku no Pico) - where?
Lol,Mayumi Tanaka (Monkey D.Luffy) in #11?Seriously?
People remember Rika Matsumoto (Jim in Outlaw Star), but what about Yuka Imai?
I chuckle at the reversal of Shakespearean plays, that had men playing female parts...think of a guy playing Juliette... heh, heheheheheheh
Your avatar.... you did it on purrrpose didn't you?
That picture is HAWT. Rawr.
Ryoko Shiraishi - Ayasaki Hayate
Also, Rie Kugumiya voiced Derude!
In case you didn't know, sometimes guys are voiced by old ladies.
Orochimaru as an example.
So is Luffy ^_^
I don't care for the list. Just want to say that i support boy voicing female seiyuu. Because in Japan, females are the better boys.
Female seiyuu? In my male characters?
Am I the only one who thinks that Romi looks really sexy?
I don't care about the list. I just got a boner from the picture.
I don't doubt whoever gets the top ten. Except possibly Kugimiya. But then, it shows that Kugimiya can be a good boy, too.
Where is Ryoko Shiraishi? i love her voice in Hayate the combat butler series.
I fucking knew the first one would be Romi Paku before even clicking this.
I don't even know modern seiyuu that well - I'm more Hayashibara-era. I read this and thought:
"Romi Paku?"
*click*
1. Romi Paku
"Well... alright then. I wonder if people will be weeping and gnashing teeth in the comments this time?"
holy crap didnt realise it was a women that did shinji's voice!! He always sounded meek but never too femine thats incredible. I could hear it more with kurama but wow they are really amazing seiyuu- probably when I hear shinji now I will hear it.
As far as I know she also voiced Sailor Uranus. Kinda ironic if you think about it - she's supposed to be a boyish-type lesbian.
good list I guess
It's not gay if they are actually girls
Its not gay if you have anal sex with a guy while you think about a girl, ooooor what?
Why isnt Sakamoto Maaya (Ciel Phantomhive) on the list? ;O
Because black butler was a shitty anime made to appeal to shota-loving fujoshi and any retard could've voiced him and they'd still cream their panties.
The same could be said about any female seiyu from any ecchi anime. Just because the show was shit doesn't mean the voice actor was terrible.
You now realize Kuririn and Gohan have female voice actors as well.
But putting that aside, if Dende is enough to put Aya Hirano on this list there probably isn't that much competition.
KitaEri, as fantastic a seiyuu as she is, sounds terrible in her male roles (Nyarlko's lead was cringe worthy in just about every aspect) so it's no wonder she's not in it. Kugimiya isn't anything special in boy roles (so many others could've voiced Al and sounded similar) either compared to many of the others on the list but she just got picked out of popularity. Romi totally deserves the first place, though. Her boy characters sound more manly than many tough characters voiced by guys.
Soooo....Japanese men are good at looking like women & Japanese women are good at sounding like men. Are things alright like this?
turapuru desu?
Boyish? Sorry mang, most of these voices are girly no matter how you look at it.
IKR lol. I was like where's Matsuoka Yuki (VA of Ichigo and Orihime). Ichigo actually does sound like a man XD.
She only voiced Ichigo as a kid in the flashbacks.
What?! So, you've never heard Mitsuki Saiga & Romi Park?
