    Hrm, impressive for AT-X. Never thought any of the networks would show any sorta stuff like nipples now without a shitton of blatant censoring. At least some shows do it in style like dem animal shapes. :D

    You're missing the point, it's not the guy who makes this kind of shows. He's just an "excuse" to have a wide variety of [naked] girls on screen, after all.

    Whether he's cool or not, doesn't really matter.

    Sometimes trying to ignore the male character just isn't possible.

    It's like having Beaker from the Muppets screaming into your ear, on and on and on.

    And for some reason, he doesn't need to take a breath, so the noise just won't stop.

    Comes a point where you just want to strangle him already, just to get him to shut up.

    Cool guy can be ignored, but an annoying one..

    The point is that most people older than 12 start to realize that attractive women(2d or 3d) are a dime a dozen...or just what your willing to fap to that is.

    You need a good story to show you why you should care more about them then the other something billion fap possibilities on the net. The problem is that a story revolves around the protagonist, they will always be there and what happens depends on them. Having a useless protagonist makes the story bounce around like a pinball and never go anywhere. You won't even get better ecchi cause the guy spends to much time talking about how useless he is to put some effort into developing a relationship with any of the girls half the time.

    I don't think alot of people who didn't read the novels like DxD but the proactive protagonist is just a joy the read about in the novel. Personally, I thought the transformation scenes that came out of nowhere and how some scenes where change ruined the mood. Anyway, he spends his time thinking about his life and how it change, his goals, how he should accomplish them, and how to get closer to the girls. Most of all, he just seems to genuenly enjoy whats happening in his life and tries to do stuff. All this transferred over to the girls who could do more and be more involved cause they where being met halfway.

    Hmm.. You probably didn't watch Hagure Yuusha no Estetica then, because that showed some nipples as well.

    Also has a rather likable male lead.
    He doesn't turn to a blithering mess whenever he's confronted with issues that have a sexual undertone, nor is he a full blown pervert with nothing but sex on his mind either. He's just rather matter of fact about it.

    His attitude rather reminds me of Errol Flynn for some reason.

    Well, considering how easily he managed to get the panties and the bras off of a troop of Battle Maids with orders to capture him, very much so.

    Stealing a kiss from a Tsundere Princess, and he has a Demon King's daughter going around calling him Onii-Chan as well.

    (Well, she tries, but it makes her bashful) And said daughter has a set that is just a smidge smaller than either Ryuubi Gentoku from Ikki Tousen or Power Girl in the comics.

    And it looks like he'll be stealing more hearts in the next episode as well, from the female students at the school that he's now enrolled in.

    I LOVED Hagure Yuusha! I had the biggest hopes for it along with Campione and Sword Art Online. Saw the summary a year ago and knew right away I was going to love the main character. This is the way it should be. ECCHI IS NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR PLOT! It's a POTENTIAL ENHANCER. If you place an amount that matches a REASONABLE character(one who isn't overly obsessed or completely disinterested compared to what you would expect from their age or whatever) it gives you eyecandy while showing that the characters are PEOPLE and not horny animals or sexless robots!
