JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Anime & Game Announced

Jump classic JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has just scored a surprising double hit combo with both a new TV anime, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure The Animation, and a fighting game, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle, having just been announced.
A brief teaser at a related event announced the anime, due on TV in October.
The game, by none other than CyberConnect2, is due for the PS3:
The sudden nature of the announcement and the general aura of shoddiness which attaches to certain shonen manga adaptations has left many fans apprehensive, but there is some hope it will turn out to be good.

Hell to the Fuck to the Yes. I was getting worried we'd never see another adaptation of the JoJo manga, and now we get not only a new anime, but a fighting game as well? Truly this is a godsend. I'm so happy, and can't wait to see both of them. I really hope they're good, because I'd really like to see Jojo's Bizarre adventure get the full and proper anime treatment it deserves. The original OVAs were great, but there's still so much of the story left to tell!

Some studio there's quite keen to try themselves at Jojo.
I know this is a Jojo game, but it would be cool to have a an appearance of Kenshiro and some of the crew in Fist of the North Star. Just to start the comparisons again.
No, that would suck. This is based on the entire Jojo series. There's a crapload of characters. Neglecting them in favor of characters from a other franchises would be an insult to the fans.

FUCK YEAH. One of the most amazingly awesome manly manga is finally getting an Anime adaptation (not counting the OVAs and the non-existent movie).
Here's hoping it's of Part 3, though I wouldn't mind seeing a Part 4 adaptation.
Also, the PS/Dreamcast fighting game was brilliant. Can't wait to see how this new game will top it.
At least we can look on the bright side, there's no chance of pointless filler at all considering the series has 700+ chapters now.
Though I doubt they'll manage to get the Jojo swagger properly on screen since no Jojo adaptations so far has managed to be anything more than decent at best.

The first ova-series was awesome. The second ova-series.. not so much, but still good. If that is a pattern this will suck big times. Let's hope for the best.
They should start from the beginning with Jonathan Joestar and move on to Joseph. Seeing Joseph vs Cars animated would be orgasmic.

^Seriously. The first few .hack// games were quite good and the Ultimate Ninja Storm games have been amazing.

Retarded plot, retarded gameplay, horrible idea to let us play offline in a simulated online world, easy as fuck, repetitive and random setting, boring sidequests , horribly expensive price for 4 games that introduce just minimum differences between them. The only good thing is the attached OAV dvd series; they sure knew how to milk money over the bunch of merchindise related to that masterpiece which is the Sign series.
