Newly aired poverty goddess anime Binbougami-ga! has proved an immediate hit, being widely acclaimed for its blend of high tempo gag and parody action, along with not a little sexy service and decent production values.
For those wondering about the setting, in traditional Japanese superstition (otherwise known as Shinto), a binbougami (“貧乏神” – literally, “poverty god”) is a type of god which attaches itself to a person or household and curses them with inevitable poverty – whilst rarely worshipped (or rather, appeased with offerings), they are the subject of much fiction.
For those wondering about Momiji’s choice of manga – the title is adapted from none other than Jump SQ…

Well i must disappoint you - manga is one year older then Nyaruko novel. So they didnt copy it.

Well i dont see that many similarities here. I didnt watch Nyaruko, but i strongly assume that there is zero actual similarity in their character personalities, since i found Binbougami manga pretty unique.

Oh, its been years since the last time a heard about this series. I saw the very first episode of this series, but i los track of it. Allways tough could be a very good anime. Now i want to see Yankee kun to megane chan, so as yamada kun and the seven witches, Toshiue no hito and more series from before 2010 and wich could be very good animes

Haven't watched the anime yet so just wondering, is that poverty god (The one in the nurse outfit in the last pic i guess?) an actual girl or a crossdressing trap? Looks completely a girl, voiced by a girl, but dat flat chest makes me wonder.
