Well how exactly do you put an 499+ chapter manga into 10-20 episodes? Comparing it to Bleach is silly. Especially as first seasons were really good.
You could squeeze Bleach down that much if you cut out all the pointless parts (you know, 95% of the manga).

No, pretty much everything after Rukia was taken to the Soul Society was. I'd only consider the first season to be any good. After that, things went downhill and only got worse after Rukia was saved. I gave up in the middle of season 4, as it hadn't been particularly worth watching in quite a while, and aside from the occasional cool moment to string viewers along, it was tedious filler ninety percent of the time.
A majority of those who liked Bleach would disagree with you. Also, if you really thought that then you wouldn't have lasted all the way to season 4.
My assumption was that it would return to more like how it was during the first season once the Soul Society arc ended. I also initially assumed they would only be there for one season, but they dragged it out into two using tons of filler. Once they got back, things were worse than ever and the original story seemed to be going nowhere, and I eventually decided it was no longer worth my time.
Yeah after SS arc I personally dropped it as well. Also this show looks like everything I hate in a show, but then again I always give it the 3-5 episode rule before I pass judgement...
