Sankarea Finale Annoys Fans: “That Was An Ending!?”

Zombie musume fans have been infuriated by Sankarea’s long-awaited finale being less of a finale than a prelude to an as yet unconfirmed second season, or worse yet a selling tactic for the disc release, and have wasted no time in voicing their dissatisfaction.
Either a second season or the underhanded inclusion of the conclusion in an extra episode (a 13th episode is confirmed as being included with the disc release, although whether it is an omake or the full ending is unknown) are expected, although fans are particularly upset about the latter prospect.

Dude there has been various news here and elsewhere which has indicated that the majority of people who voted Ishihara was blindly following his referendum because of his racist views a number of months back. Or did you miss the thousands of Japanese gathering to support the douchebag when he was openly hating on the Koreans and Chinese? That was what got him support, not the rest of his extreme ideas. This is what I am critisizing. It's no more different than the Bush era with Americans jumping the bandwagon back then or with us Brits who thought it was a great idea having "New" Labour moral guardians run the show.

As for kissing ass to large corporations. They've been doing so for a long time. Which isn't anything new with their dislike for "pirates" and so on. Most were in favor of things like PIPA, SOPA and even ACTA. Well come October their wishes come true. If they complain, they should of thought about it more. Sure it went under the radar through bad circumstances and no opposition at the time, but the fact that there is little to no resistance right now....well go figure.

Lol, what a sensationalist headline... Anyways, I disagree. Sure it wasn't an incredible ending, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit.

Both Bleach and Beelzebub got canceled(and Beelzebub got canceled in middle of the arc to make it worse). So you cant really compare them.
bleach only got cancelled cause it caught the manga, they just didn't want to bother to make a filler till manga finishes.

Well they did more then enough of crappy fillers for it. But they should have ended the anime earlier they killed Aizen.
not really anime was going on good direction, just that ppl had the perception that aizen was the ultimate enemy and after the defeat of that enemy it has to end, they gave it a twist to your typical battle manga, ppl just cant accept that, has far has fillers go, well yea there was alot of fillers, but it was to avoid to end the anime since its still better than putting the anime on hiatus and besides ppl didn't have to watch the fillers if they didn't like it, if you were to compare bleach's fillers to naruto or any other battle manga, you would realized to how good they are, atleast those fillers had a story to it, look at naruto, would you call those fillers entertaining?(insert random bullshit that happened before shippuden or make recap of the 1st season) even one piece, fillers were terrible.
Dont call Bleach fillers good. Few of first fillers were maybe good. But after years they became trash. Especially the last fillers seasons. If you wish to see good fillers episodes, then you need to watch One Piece. You often enough didnt realize that they are fillers unless you did read the manga prior.
Depends on blu ray sells. It was in the top five so it comes down to the money.
Why are people surprised at bad endings of adapted stuff when the original has not ended yet?
If they invent their own ending, they kinda fuck themselves over for making more seasons with the rest of the source materials.
If they don't, it's bound to feel unfinished.
You just have to end with the end of an story arc instead of ending with the beginning of the next. Downpacing or accelerating, cutting "superflous" things and adding fillers are the basic tools for making that and I think any of us could cite loads of examples where it's done perfectly. This is just lack of planning ability and trying to get as much money as they can. If it's not that, I can't even start to phatom why the series planner was inmediatly sacked after even proposing to end like that.

In my opinion the series wasn't that good. I really loved first & second episode, but being a pretty much farce-level love comedy it got pretty old pretty fast.
What's their problem? They got to kiss at the very end, right? Kissing a zombie includes it biting you, obviouly.
It's a good ending, because it makes you interested in the sequel. Unlike in other romcoms, where they keep up the status quo at the end, and you don't even care about a sequel because it's obvious that nothing will happen in it!
i guess this would be expected, well, they might make a season 2 so dont really care, the manga is still ongoing too, its hard to make a good ending if the manga still ongoing, cant see why ppl complain about something thats inevitable

Seemed like a regular episode to me, didn't feel like an ending. Dunno what I'm going to do now though, this has "ended" Mysterious Girlfriend X has ended, and I just finished Beelzebub,anyone have anything else worth watching?
Nazo no Kanojo X still has one episode left. On the 6th the new season will start so there will be a few for you to pick up. I can't wait for Sword Art Online.
