Just a quick check, top 4 male seiyuus and the cast roles that made them famous:
1. Takahiro Sakurai: Rockman X (Rockman X8, Irregular Hunter X, both 2005)
2. Mamoru Miyano: Setsuna F. Seiei (Kidou Senshi Gundam 00, 2007-2010)

Imo, Takehito Koyasu deserves a better spot. Like in top 10 at least. He has an epic voice for both serious and comic relief characters.

Great list. Personally I think Jouji Nakata Is the coolest Seiyuu ever! His voice is just... too damn incredible.
He did an amazing job in Gankutsuou: the Count of Monte Cristo. His voice was the perfect fit for Edmond Dantes.
