Different anon, but here's my take.
It's pretty much my impression that the sex in the story wasn't there as Titillation, but rather because it's an integral part of the story, either to show the emotional connection between the characters or because the storyline required the hankypanky.
Powering up Saber, the contract making with Rin by way of tantric sex (iirc) and the sexual encounters with Sakura were examples of the latter.
The love scene between Shiro and Saber prior to the big battle was an example of the former.
So not so much sex for sex's sake.
Probably one of the reasons why the game lacked a Harem ending, well, not counting the Good End of UBW, where he ends up with both Rin and Saber.
Still, that does leave out Sakura and Rider, and possibly Ilya and Taiga. (I'm not including Caster, because she never displayed any attraction towards Shiro whatsoever.)

you are a fool, Yes ero ova for fate would be awesome but it would never work out. Even though it was an eroge from the beginning, the anime was not, thus meaning all ova, movies,etc after can at most be full of service nothing more. Secondly the voice actors prolly wouldn't do it for obvious reasons, and if they change the voice actors for this said ero anime movie, its just an extreme turn off. Simply wouldn't work out. A porno with real actors is the only path to even the slightest success.
It's the only way, mr. Producer's son, who's an ugly and bald pig, can get laid.
