Agreed. If an anime distracts you with tits, its usually trying to buy time so it can stretch its plot out to fill the full season. If the anime was actually good it wouldn't need them, or it'd pull a FLCL and just do 6 great episodes instead of 13 mediocre ones.

As for myself? I'm really enjoying the story so far. It's really the most thing I look forward to on Thursday's.
I don't understand the need to do this for this show. This show has a great story to it. Adding nipples in to DVDs should be reserved for the trash that can't sell without it.
What's wrong with nipples? It doesn't have to be a sexy thing. For me, it sometimes gets too distracting when a character doesn't have them. It's just not natural to not have 'em.
But now you can't watch it with your family. At least before the nipple inclusion it was possible.
That's why people complain about all these new anime ruining themselves with fanservice.

As far as I recall, we all have them.
You should face reality and realize that normal people are not going to find nipples in anime to be acceptable. Ordinary people do not watch anime for fanservice. The people on here that make posts like "fap fap" and other ridiculous responses belong to a fringe group, and they're the ones that create the stigma of watching anime in the first place. If you want to increase anime's draw and acceptance in the mainstream, moving away from things like this is important. This show would have sold just fine without their inclusion, and to me, it cheapens the show by doing this.

There's nothing "wrong" with nipples, but if you show an anime with them to your parents, they'll probably freak out, and punish you.

I wouldn't consider Sanka Rea "family-friendly" due to the /plot/ - evil/creepy father taking sexually-explicit nude photos of his daughter ("Spread you legs a bit more, dear...").

A lot of anime is just not really aimed at the family but for a mature audience. For a lot of people when they see anime they think of western cartoons and get a little shocked at the more mature content that they weren't expecting.

Tenchi also had nipples with an entire episodes where Ayeka and Ryoko were completely naked without any steam or light beams.

Can't answer the 2nd question but the 1st is because she is still alive at the time since this takes place before the 1st episode. Plus you can tell when she is still alive since her eyes are still blue and not red when she is a zombie.
But she's Japanese, they don't have pink nipples in the first place!
