It's funny that Tadakuni made the 2nd place. Most of people who watched the show probably forgot about him halfway through and only remembered in the last episode, at least that happened to me.
Ringo and the Literarure Girl for the win though. They were completely different in terms of their personalities but were equally adorable in their own way. (^.^)

In an anime about high school boys, they still managed to include an unbelievably adorable girl named Ringo in the list of cast.

Me too. She wasn't a bad character but hardly spectacular. Only thing I loved about her was her design, otherwise kind of meh.

I find it amusing that Ibara has been ranking consistently higher than Chitanda on all the polls. They made every effort to spotlight one character's adorableness and people are finding the support character more lovable.
...i don't find that surprising at all. they seem to spend just as much time focusing on ibara's cuteness/loliness as they do on chitanda.

#1 and 2, though fine characters, do not deserve to be up there. If anyone, it should be Yuuko from Dusk Maiden. She's all of the Monogatari girls combined! Plus that hime cut!
