Porn Star Canadian Corpse Cutter Caught

A Canadian porn star who posted a video of himself murdering and sexually abusing the corpse of his gay lover online and then mailed parts of the body to Canadian political parties has been arrested in a Berlin Internet cafe whilst looking up stories about his antics.
29-year-old Canadian porn star Luka Rocco Magnotta (originally “Eric Newman”) was the subject of an international manhunt after he allegedly killed his 33-year-old Chinese boyfriend and cut up his corpse, mailing the pieces to Canada’s main political parties.
He even went so far as to film the murder, believed to have taken place in a Montreal apartment, and post the video online.
The video showed him dispatching his bound victim with an icepick, dismembering the corpse and then proceeding to perform various depraved sex acts with it, as well as eating parts of the body.
He mailed a foot and hand to Canada’s main political parties, and dumped the corpse’s torso in a suitcase, prompting an immediate media furore and police manhunt.
However, he was able to successfully flee to France (apparently with the aid of makeup and crossdressing), and despite multiple sightings there managed to make his way to Germany.
His flight finally ended at a Berlin Internet cafe, where he apparently spent several hours reading news stories about the hunt for him, only to be recognised by a member of staff, who summoned police to the scene.
Security cameras caught the moment of his arrest, which saw police officers take him into custody without incident; he admitted his identity at the scene.
German police are now holding him pending extradition to Canada for trial.
Along with the obvious murder charge, he also faces charges of “corrupting morals,” causing an indignity to a corpse, using the mail to deliver obscene material, and harassing the Prime Minister of Canada.
He had already attracted the attention of authorities after developing an interest in killing and torturing cats, which he would record and post online, recognised as a common pattern with murderers.
He had also been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in 2005, although in that case charges were dropped, and been convicted in connection with a $17,000 credit card fraud case.
Canadian police could not help but note the irony of his fascination with Internet exhibitionism leading to his arrest:
“We said from the beginning that the web has been used to glorify himself and we believe the web brought him down. He was recognized because his photo was everywhere”

Surely this guy will have an insane story to tell over the coming years and i, for one, would love to read about it or see it on a documentary or two. Canada's life sentence is 25 years... if he is judged as insanity (mental illness) once he is "healer" he can get out, but stil i think no death sentence is good because there are cases which innocent people are judged guilty... imagine they have to face death sentence

i fully believe in the death sentence, however, video evidence that proved identity beyond a shadow of a doubt needs to be in place, a confession, or to many eye witnesses that you cant use mistaken identity as an excuse.
i don't believe anything short of the above should allow a death sentence to go through, and when it does, you don't get appeals, you go straight to death.
Honestly, the guy had better hope he gets sent to a mental institute, or he'll get torn to bits by the prison crowd unless he's put in solitary.
