I find this show embarrassingly good. The weird fanservice, the drool exchange, the coldness of the titular girlfriend... By all accounts I should not like this show and be designating it just another trash fanservice show yet here I am; enjoying it week after week.

A lot of people hear about this creepy fanservice show and are surprised to find they like it, but it's not as surprising if you know that it's based on a manga from Kodansha's Monthly AFTERNOON, which generally only publishes stories with more substance than those fanservicey manga designed solely to titillate. (Other great Afternoon titles include YOKOHAMA SHOPPING LOG and AH MY GODDESS.)
Not that I'm denying the fanservice, but there's more to it than just fanservice.

I never have a problem with weird anime, in fact this is a fresh new idea push to the limit instead of those typical high school comedy slice of life 70% of the time.
