    Agreed. Ruining Fujiko and turning her into a semi-unstable female, making Lupin a second banana, and worse making Fujiko a child rape victim and sexually confused nympho with no control over he life. The original Fujiko was strong, capable and always in control... now she's just eyecandy...

    Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who enjoys this show. Yeah it's got nudity... and your point is? Why not appreciate the music, the voice work, the art and the colors. You can be a fan of the original cartoon and enjoy this anime too. It just seems like people who hate on a show with fanservice just can't see past the fanservice.

    This adaptation is terrible.
    Monkey Punch had a lot of good ideas about style and setting, but for best effects, he needed someone less insane to reign him in. It's why the Miyazaki Lupins are some of the all time best. This director isn't doing that.

    Also, even upotte knows that folding stocks don't magically refold every 5 seconds. (73-76)

    Actually, you are correct. All who watch it WILL inevitably die, as will those who watch virtually everything else, from a rerun of Seinfeld to a couple of flies fucking. I'm slowly dying from Earth's gravity as I type this.

    You're correct. All who watch this anime will eventually die, as will all who watch just about everything there is to watch will die. Watchers of Magnum PI reruns, of baseball games & watchers of two flies fucking on a window sill. Doomed, all of them.

    If God does exist, then most definitely it is He who kills us, as it is He who gives us life. No argument there.

    Oh fucking bullshit, the original manga (as well as the subsequent mangas by Monkey Punch) had class and style, this is just modern shit fan-service anime like everything else out these days.

    Was the original manga violent? Yes. Was the original manga filled with sex? Yes.

    Was the original manga like this new incarnation of Lupin III? Fuck no.

    Hell, the closes we've gotten to a proper manga adaptation is probably the first series, and sure, that was a bit off, but it was waaaay closer than this.

    Well if you see the movie Secret of Mamo Fujiko is naked a couple of times in the movie, Lupin even does something naughty at the end but I won't spoil.
    But that one is way better then this anime. Its also the Geneon dub where Tony Oliver is Lupin and Richard Epcar is Jigen, they are my favorite cast from the dubs done of Lupin the Third.
    I'm still not keen on the hatching its just not really needed if you compare to the other Lupin anime.

    Why is everyone saying that this is like the manga? It perhaps is... on a superficial "tits and gore" level. In reality MP's work is a lot more careless and humorous; just the loose, cartoony artwork is enough to give what he makes a VASTLY different tone from this show. This show feels a lot more like a normal "adult anime".
