And as a follow-up, I'm going to go ahead and guess that a large majority of the downvotes were just ol' Lamberto going on different accounts just to downvotes. (Wouldn't be surprising, considering his zeal towards this topic).

Just an FYI, I was being completely serious about respecting the need for plotless fanservice anime, though. There is mixed message in that. That's exactly the way I see it.

I don't know what a "plotass-sucking douchebag" is, but I'm going to translate that into "we like actual substance in our anime."

That's a pity, people should just mindlessly watch everything, right?

FYI though, I doubt most people even cleanly fit into either category anyway. That's just a silly 2ch classification system.

As for me, I respect the need for plotless fanservice anime in the anime industry. People like you, with generally bad judgement skills, provide what is probably a good majority of the cash flow towards the industry. I respect the role of mindless cash cow. Someone needs to do it, and you guys are the ones that take the bullet and get milked.
