K-ON! Ends (Again)

Otaku are grappling with the prospect of the grim darkness of life without K-ON! (again), as the manga has just announced a sudden and unexpected finale.
From a purportedly leaked early copy of the next issue circulating on Twitter, announcing the next chapter as the “Grand Finale”:
There is some speculation as to whether this is a move on Kakifly’s part to merge K-ON! back with its Azunyan-vehicle sister title, as the strain of penning not one but two manga of such dynamic intensity must be considerable indeed.
Predictably this has provoked tears of woe amongst K-ON!’s more ardent fans:
“No!”
“K-ON! can’t end… stop messing around!”
“So even K-ON! is finishing…”
“Please tell me this is just the end of ‘K-ON!’ in favour of ‘K-ON!!'”
“He’s just merging the university and school versions back together, right? Right?”
“Odd time to finish it really…”
“They’re ending it on a school festival!? I suppose cutting it before the exams makes sense, but will he merge the two together or not?”
“Seriously? I guess we get another movie at least?”
“There is also the perspective that it is amazing that it lasted this long…”

So many "long-running" publications are coming to an end recently.
The thing is, it's becoming ever clearer that the rumors about this situations are true. Which would be that authors are collectively pulling their own works from publication because of the newly conceived copyright regulations which are designed to essentially take every right from the author and give everything to the publishers/editors.
That's also the reason why Ken Akamatsu is a true hero for cutting of Negima out of protest against such devilish regulations.
Since Japan is one of those countries which gladly spread their legs for ACTA and the like, i can only hope that the outdated and superfluous corporate publishing mafia in Japan chokes to death on this shitstorm.
Everybody isn't it obvious that all the greatest anime such as Haruhi Suzumiya and Ouran and K-On always ends shortly not like Bleach and Naruto, the ugliest of all

this news announcement is about ending the high schol sections. nobody (except i guess sancom) would think this is the end of the k-on, =/
Except the high school part isn't ending. It's the college one with the original 4 girls which is something fans might actually care about.

Bleach is ending and Naruto seems to be ending. I still don't get why One Piece isn't ending...
Because it's plot still has a ways to go. Bleach gave up on a decent one for a while, and Naruto's just about ending it's story.
