Dusk Maiden of Amnesia’s swimwear service episode has been widely panned for not showing off enough of the lovely heroine’s ethereal form, although considering the abundance of such episodes this may actually be something of a compliment itself.

I just read all of the manga in 3 days and caught up, its friggin amazing and I hope they can keep up with the same story in the anime, if not.......... well it'll "still" be amazing ^^
So what, not everyone who watches anime gets off on 2d. The anime itself isn't a bad watch so far so it doesn't really need excessive fan-service. Excessive fan-service should be reserved for shows that do suck otherwise.
The funny thing is, there really wasn't any "excessive fan-service" in this episode, but that's just my opinion.

Weird seeing so many comparisons to Hitagi from Bakemono. They look nothing alike to me personally. Also to me, Hitagi is hotter :)
I've said it before, in looks she resembles Yomi Isayama far more than she does Hitagi Senjougahara.
Personality wise, yeah, there's some Senjougahara aspects in Yuuko, but there are also traits from Suruga Kanbaru.
Playful, teasing, secure in their own sexuality.
And the jealousy aspect is more aimed towards those trying to take away the one she loves, rather than harming him.
Although in this episode, the preventing Niiya from looking at Okonogi is a tad more physical than usual, but that can be explained due to him having been absent over Summer Break and her missing him, so she was a tad more emotional than she's like otherwise.

Why compare Yuuko here to Senjogahara from Bakemonogatari? She MAY resemble her slightly, but they are two different characters all together.
Yuuko is a lot sweeter personality wise, and a lot more attractive (for a ghost) than Senjogahara. (IMHO)
So PLEASE stop comparing the two.
lol, no. Those two are quite different in terms of personality. Yuuko does get jealous when other girls are around Teiichi, but nowhere near as crazy as Hitagi does. By the way, I really like both of those characters. XD
