I wonder how much more anime we'd all have if each show was only animated once...
It's been tough waiting for the "real" version of this to come out since I'm not going to watch both versions - but there are always scenes where the TV version beats BD so it starts to become like... "just don't mess with a good thing!" too.
Its not like they want to do the double work, as it was previously mentioned before on this site, SHAFT is currently understaffed in the animation department.
Thus, they have to compromise with animation quality in order to keep with the tight schedules of weekly episodes.
The Blu-Ray version gives them the opportunity to fix some of the corners they have cut in order to save time in order for them to bring out Nisemonogatari in it's rightful and supposed form that they wanted it to be shown.
And, well, it also gives me a reason to re-watch an amazing show anyways, as all SHAFT works are, so I don't mind that much.. =]
just hope shaft never hires george lucas...
