Wrong, I've seen up to the latest one. People who used to speak like you are just easy going at best.

The show has been watered down to a level for kids to understand. They try to create "Good/bad" so clearly that it's almost like Power Rangers. Even so, they created the wrong anti-war message "Evil must be judged as evil" when it's suppose to be "Men are good, war is evil". Beside, zipping 3 seasons into 50 episode left them no ground to exploit each side characters stories. The animation and story quality dropped over 2/3 the show.

If you can't see the different, go watch something like Unicorn.

lol watered down to kids level? Do you know all gundam series are geared to kids right, that they produce these shows to sell merchandise aimed for kids? Although in the West we may see a gundam series like 0079, zeta or even unicorn aiming for older people, in reality its all for kids. So for saying that gundam age is a watered series made for children, I guess you dont really understand gundam at all.

Gundam Age has been declared by Sunrise that its targets is kids (like Ben10) at this point. It's you who fail to understand the matter.

I can't understand people like you who keep saying the others gundam series is for kids. I don't know where your sources is but clearly, Gundam series have very mature contents.

According to Nikkei MJ, the rating of Mobile Suit Gundam AGE has been hovering around the 2% level. Although the main target of the TV series is preteen boys, the rating among the kids sometimes goes down to zero. Bandai has been aware of the unpopularity of Gundam AGE among kids and have tried to identify the reason by conducting a questionnaire. What they found from the survey was that kids today are unfamiliar with wars and space colonies. To draw the attentions of those kids, Bandai featured scenes at school in Asem's Arc, but their attempt failed to obtain the expected result.

Despite the failure of Gundam AGE, Ueno Kazunori, the President of Bandai Namco HD, has been keeping his composure with the business. At the beginning of this year, Ueno encouraged the disheartened staff of Gundam AGE by saying, "Don't be in panic." The reason for his calmness is the favorable status of the whole Gundam sales, which has grown by 18% year-on-year. The increase is mainly attributed to the success of Gundam Unicorn. Bandai Namco HD will expand the business by coordinating the subsidiary companies taking advantage of the popularity of Gundam Unicorn among fans in their 30-40s.

According to Nijigen Shinbun, a film project of Gundam AGE has been surfaced. The authenticity of the report is uncertain.

I agree that the series has many flaws. The idea of a generational Gundam series was interesting, but it was ruined by poor execution. I think part 1 was pretty terrible, but we've seen a lot of improvement with part 2 wouldn't you agree?

I don't think the good/evil is that one dimensional. But I agree that you are mostly right in this regard. I think Flit's development is starting to blur the lines of good and evil much like our beloved OYW stories, but you are correct.

I do concede that as far as Gundam goes it's pretty terrible, but not the worst Gundam; and compared to the other series on this list I feel it's not as bad as a lot of them.

compared to good Gundam AGE is a failure, but compared to a lot of the other anime this season I feel it's not that bad.

If you're saying that Zeta Gundam is meant for children, you're out of your goddamned mind. Zeta would go over kids' heads, regardless of whether you show it to a child in the East or the West. Some of Gundam is ostensibly meant for the 13-20 crowd. Good luck getting your ten-year-old to build a Master Grade, too. The demographic for Gundam changes from series to series, and the dramatic shift from 00 to AGE is one of the key reasons why the targeting of a younger audience is more pointedly-observable than it has ever been before.

to be honest?
i rather watch AGE, in somewhat around asemu asuno arc, then watch unicorn, or watch around the end of flit asuno arc

unicorn is a convoluted piece of bullshit i can't digest & i hate to digest, hypocrisy & ultra angst teenager & lots of dumb adults around the plot, lack of plot explaininng

i rather take gundam AGE easyness to digest & straight-forward plot
00 was like that in season 1, then season 2 have some of the episode to cool down the pace, but the plot is easy to follow and not wangsty

if gundam unicorn & other UC century is as hard to digest as other UC movies (MS igloo counts to) i rather take my seed(no destiny thank u) thank you very much
