Videogames have claimed another innocent victim after they prompted a small child to gun down his own father for failing to provide a PlayStation.
Police in Saudi Arabia report the boy, aged 4 years and 7 months, asked his father to buy him a PlayStation.
However, when he returned home it became apparent he had not bought the PlayStation, and the child saw his chance for revenge when his father was undressing and put down his pistol, which he managed to grab and used to shoot his father in the head.

Good riddance
Four years late, though.
WELL... you can't blame the kid for learning HOW to shoot his dad from playing Video Games - He didn't have one.
The kids lucky - if he missed and it was me I'd have sold that kid to Saudi Arabia for a 1,000 MFC tokens
Spoiled Brat.
i know! that's why he's rotten to the core
note to self: don't undress in front of children
You don't expose yourself to children?!?!
fool! you don't expose yourself in your own house! do it in a public area!!
everyone, point at him and laugh!
he doesn't expose himself in front of chldren
laughingwhores.jpg
note to self: basic gun safety
Keep guns out of reach of children or get your head blown off.
Better a gun than an explosive belt, isn't it?
>Saudi Arabia
The curve for judgement on this story shifted entirely. Insert stuff here about Arab nations having a terrible situation in general regarding life and worth that can be uselessly misconstrued as racism against Arabs.
End of line.
BOOM HEADSHOT
Now grab a knife and run.
This kind of shit only happens because of Sony fanboys.
Nintendo > Sony.
Go fuck yourself, asshole
Bet you're glad there wasn't a gun laying around...
All fanboys are equal. Equally stupid that is.
Playstation>Human Soul
So much win.

I find it hard to believe that the father was walking around with the safety 'off' on his gun. And then he didn't react when the child touched the gun.
and if it was a policeman's gun, i am surprised that the child wasn't hurt after firing it. Plus his aim didn't very off!
I smell bullshit
1. Its Saudi Arabia, he doesn't need to be an officer to have a gun.
2. There's a shocking amount of guns without safeties. Lots of Walther P99s and P22s don't have them at all.
i take it that you never been to the middle east.
1st you can't carry a gun in the city (concealed or not), you can own a none-automatic weapon, but can't carry it around.
2nd the cloth men wear to work is usually the same as what they wear at home (the white cloth you always see in the news). So men don't need to change when the get home (just unbutton the button(s) around the neck). For the father to be changing his cloth and putting the gun down, indicate a uniform been taken off. So it is safe to assume that he was a police officer or a soldier.
Pasting my above comment: There was a case in the US where a kid shot and killed his mother because the father (a cop, if I recall correctly) left the pistol lying around. It's not unique or especially unbelievable.
You just assume that it's bullshit because you're not accounting for all the times that this kind of thing happens and nobody reports it or the kid does miss.
Jonah, is that you???
Pulling the trigger from a pistol requires a lot of finger strength, and even more to shoot ACCURATELY... Somehow BS is not the main course meal here.
uh ever heard of a feather trigger
I belive the term is "hair-trigger".
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/hair-trigger
Either is acceptable actually.
"Feather Trigger" is a trademark of the Browning Firearms company, and is factory set at 3.5 pounds. Hardly a light trigger pull.

The term is often used, incorrectly, in regards to airsoft type toys.
Could be just a small frame pistol. It's in Saudi Arabia, probably they're not into hand cannons.

It happens when people get careless and it's not just guns that are dangerous.
I read of a case where a kid started his mom's mini van and accidentally ran over his mom and little brother.
Another time where a four year old started an SUV and went for a joy ride until running into a hydrant and flipping the vehicle.
So you better keep the car key away from them as well.
it depends on the pistol.
Having a weapon require more trigger effort then what a small child can muster might reduce accidents.
Though the trade off would be less comfort when using at a shooting range.
They should have a sensitivity adjustment thingy :P
Always get your kid what they want.
Oh wait.....we will probably never have one anyway.
Maybe that will be his punishment.
This is very sad to see that a 4y old will choose games over his birth parents!
Saudi Arabia
i had a friend who went to live there, place is a hell hole
If you're white and go there to work, it's all right. As long as you don't get murdered.
Not really, when the parents are but feeding machines and the child is too young to realize the consequences of breaking the machine.
I teach 4-year olds and they all have more intelligence and sensitivity than that. He probably got angry and wanted to punish his father, but didn't know the extent of damage the gun would do in real life or that his daddy couldn't come back to life.
Lots of kids make guns with their fingers and go around 'shooting' people, this child just had access to a real one and didn't stop to think (a weakness in four-year olds of course).
You teach to 4-year olds in all countries of earth?
Besides, who said anything about intelligence? Sure without parental education there is only so much you can develop, but recognizing feeding-machines and nothing more is pretty much accurate when you deal with parents who will only feed you and grant you shelter in their house.
Kids and Games.
Period.
Uhm, this is Saudi Arabia. Why am I the only one that's not even remotely surprised by this?
You're not.
at least that kid will be a very skilled sniper!! 5 years with a headshot?
I don't know... This story seems rather suspicious. Are we supposed to believe that not only did this four year old decide to shoot his dad, but that he was skilled enough with a gun to shoot him in the head? Who else was around at the time? It seems more likely that the wife, or someone else did it, and blamed it on someone they thought wouldn't get in trouble for such an 'accident'.
It was above the eye actually so not direct head shot :P , anyway for me i think someone else killed the father (from the family) and they said its the kid because they won't jail him.
eh, even a 4-year old has a good chance at a headshot from point blank range
lol, idiot, regular 4 year olds are stupid
"we will probably never have one anyway."
LUCKY US!
See!? That's why we don't have children. Children are not only loud, annoying, smelly, expensive to raise, get hurt easily, and huge pain in the ass when they become teenagers. They are also cold-blooded murderers.
All children should be shot at birth. Get them before they get us!
dude you were a kid once, so deal with it
kids are just kids, they need to be raised well, that all
LOL.. arabians are nuts.. that's why GOD sent phrophet to there.. :P
@Anon 14:06
Damn, i'm utterly sorry for that ;_;
@Loli Can't Wait:
It's funny because you hate children but can't stop jacking off to them.
We were kids once... but we were never that CRAZY !! the worst I can do is hold my breath
unlucky. U__U i want a child.
If it's just a Playstation...sure.
Those things cost nothing today. Even a PS2 would still be cheap.
And get him some rpgs that take forever to finish.
Disgaea?
Cheap in the U.S and some others countries, but in Saudi Arabia? Maybe not.
