Yeah its almost comical ther reactions to those shows. its hard to take them seriously at times especially when they cant have open minds to shows like this and Mysterious Girlfriend X.
i been reading their reviews these past few years for the laughs alone and not for any kind of actual feedback on a show. They either think to much of themselves or are simply taking their jobs too seriously since they are "one" of the top visited sites and letting that influence their site for more family friendly reviews or some crap.

I think the project was green-lighted by jaded industry executives who have been so flooded with bad ideas that they can't tell how bad stuff is any more.
As a gun nut and mild otaku I actually find this relatively enjoyable, I admit that lots of things are better though.
Personal standards don't apply.
I'm calling it now, best show of the season.
If there is a high school, middle school, and elementary school all combined. Why focus on the middle schoolers when younger ones are available

Why are guns shooting guns...that's like people using people as fists.

Sure it's meta, but it's hardly new.
Shooting guns (especially AR) one handed could dislocated one's shoulder.
They explain in the show why she doesn't feel the recoil. Unless you are just stating a random gun fact.
That is not even close to a random FACT or a FACT PERIOD... You have no idea what you are saying the 5.56 has VERY minimal recoil especially when a gas system is used (it mitigates much of the felt recoil compared to say a bolt action) I can shoot my AR one handed with no problems at all not very accurate though. And honestly any thing short of say a .300 win mag is not going to be a problem shooting one handed or from the hip.
Just don't shoot a large caliber rifle (7.62x51mm and above) one handed is what he is saying. Try firing an M16 one handed. You may want to use a sling just to carry it's weight but the burst is something near the size of an elephant.
Guys, it's a fucking anime. They explain FAL wearing a thing because she has a skeleton stock. I don't think the argument of weather a girl *that is actually a gun* can shoot herself one handed or not is relevant...

Actually she's an A1, you can tell by the cocking handle and the fact she's always referred to as L85A1.
As both a gun nut and a very mild otaku I think I fit quite nicely into the target audience for this anime. Although I must disagree with some of the comments made about the British armed forces and the A2 (much more reliable than M16 by far)
Also curse this anime for turning my gun nuttism into a full fetish...

Empi-chan is adorable, I will never look it the mp5 the same again.
Of course she is, but the MP5 is famous for some very good reasons.
Shes just the A2 model. the other ones like the SD, K, etc, are different sisters.
