Spring sees yet another crop of otaku rooms from 2ch, with most evidently not much in need of any spring cleaning, and with some rather impressive collections of such otaku staples as PC hardware and anime goods well in evidence.

Here: http://9031.com/goodies/#fliqlo
much obliged!
Dat Norman Rockwell postcard at pic 68 D:!
Otakus are wealthy, aren't they?
women and families cost money, so if you dont have one... ;)
Indeed. An otaku isn't necessarily a hikikomori. Many otaku have a job.
Some are sponsored by their parents....those NEET otakus.
minimalistic otaku

nice collection of cheap toy guns that still look like toys hanged on the wall

I especially like the white room with the "office" inside the box with the bed on top of it, its a very nice space saver with the added privacy (for those nights spent playing eroge).
Some of these rooms have some nice arrangements ideas, definitely will apply them when possible.
Ye, looks very nice. On other hand rest of the room was pretty much empty.
I cant help but wonder if that bed will fall down
Pic 75. Triple monitors, nice.
Pic 76. 5 monitors, WANT THAT!
Some of those rooms are REALLY nice looking, like 58 and 75. Eh, the collections of manga and figs are impressive too I suppose.... but those other rooms... like a Sir.
I'm wondering where they get all the money from to own so much stuff in the 1st place...
Uh, they work?
I could easily own ten times that. These stuff are cheap compared to nice clothes, girlfriends, cars, traveling, going out and generally having a social life.
Yeah, whatever you say.
lol yeah totally.
most of the rooms are pretty tasteful and clean. Its hard to see otaku as poor single bums living in his parents basement.
Guts figurine! Awesome.
where can I find the item in picture 119? :) Totally need that!

What a waste of space for more posters..
Then again, these photos are the main reason why I always drop a tear everytime I heard someone says "Get a room!"..
He or she (lol) uses that wall to project stuff like you can see in other photos
How could someone be forever alone when so many smiling faces surround them?
It is because they were never alone in the first place.
Laugh, but I scientifically verified that being surrounded of these gave me more energy than not having them. The kind of energy you get from living with real people.
For people like me who should have no-one, it's better than no-one.
like for pic 119
Nixie tube nostalgia! When digital displays meant high voltage and neon gas.
Someone is going for an unusual design, rather than steampunk. No brass, no rococco decoration.
Brings back fond memories.
A lot of those rooms are actually pretty nice.
I agree. Usually on these I'll chime in with how damn creepy most are, but it looks like the majority have taken it back a notch to sane levels. The cover story pic is clearly a hoarder, but after that they get pretty damn normal.
with special reference to 56 and 58, i totally agree. those two are swankier than many rooms i've seen.
#64
#65
these remind me why I prefer scans to the actual thing
the textures on the one wall make it look like concrete; irony
065 - He literally has a wall of texts.
i c wut u did thar
No females for miles... ;)
check under the bed
LoL xD
Soniko-chan room! I'm in heaven!
I see two Xbox 360s (#11, #34). I guess more otaku have Xboxes than have girlfriends (of the non-plastic variety).
Anddd... still no living female to be found inside the room :\
Why would they randomly post a picture of their girlfriend, even if they had one?
there aren't any girlfriend, because they only have their hand and imagination
06:11 Wow, someone sounds insecure. I'm sure some of them have girlfriends, so what's the problem? U jelly?
Interestingly populating your room with half-naked Sonikos makes it rather gay, because it's all pink and white...
Then again, 'gay' isn't what I'd worry about, regarding the image of me it would project.
"Pink is the color of universal love and compassion.
Emotional love of self and others. Brings you in contact with your feelings of caring, tenderness, self-worth and love, acceptance.
Heals grief and sadness. Smoothes difficulties in both romantic and family relationships and assists with self-esteem and self-love.
Pink is a combination of red and white. The quality of energy in pink is determined by how much red is present. White is the potential for fullness, while red helps you to achieve that potential. Pink combines these energies.
Wear pink when you are around people you care about and that care about you, or if you want to smooth over or encourage the one to one relationship, whether it be friendship or romantic love.
Pink suggests softness, sweetness, innocence, youthfulness, tenderness, romance, nurturing, friendship, femininity, soft and kind people. A pink carnation means 'I will never forget you.' "
How is that gay?
You know, that's actually a good question. Anyone knows what is it that makes pink gay?
It's actually not gay.
But all those macho guys don't want to have "softness, sweetness, innocence, youthfulness, tenderness, romance, nurturing, friendship, femininity, soft and kind people" associated with them. That's just how assholes are.
