Future Diary Fans Distraught by Ending

Mirai Nikki fans are distraught at the less than satisfactory ending they have been granted, with more than a few outraged at its rather fundamental shortcoming…
Although by no means on a Mass Effect 3 level, being forced to await an unknown Next Project certainly ranks amongst the least satisfactory endings possible if the fan response is anything to go by, and speculation as to what is next rages in their midst:
“What! Wait, you can’t end it like that!”
“This is harsh. At least put it on the DVD. Please.”
“So the continuation is a movie?”
“What the hell…”
“What’s NEXT PROJECT to be then? A drama?”
“Surely it’s another season?”
“So an OVA or BD extra? Do either, I really want to see the ending.”
“True End type endings would be an extra with the disc release, like P4 or something.”
“My money is on a live action drama.”
“Don’t mess with us like this!”
“But I want to see the continuation now!”
“What the hell is this…”
“At least put in the details of what it is.”
“Oh come on, what the hell kind of ending is this!?”
“I thought it would follow the original but they cut the epilogue.”
“Must be an OVA, there isn’t enough for a full movie.”
“EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!? There are only like 5 pages left in the original which they haven’t done. What the hell is this? They could do it in like 3 minutes! You’re going to drag that out!?”

Ah..so they kept the last scene in the chapter as a next "project". No wonder I was confused seeing the the title of this thread, since Mirai Nikki Basically is following the manga closely.

I hope they somehow salvage the mess of an ending by explaining how the ending could have logically happened. The manga ending went downhill without ever touching the ground.
If they do we will just complain that they didn't follow the manga, which we don't know but assume would be better. Damn you Brotherhoood. Damn you. No one told me how shitty you really were.
But... Did any of them even read the manga? That's how the manga ends, what were they expecting? From what I gather, they're upset about the epilogue, which brings a little more closure, being cut in favor of extending the series in some shape or form. Fine with me I say, I always felt the manga's ending was a little weak anyway.

Actually, the problem seems to be the fact that they LEFT OUT the manga's entire ending in favor of continuing with the new project.

Heres the thing, they didnt remove it they just made it different, after the credits we only see yukiterus diary entrys changing to something like "Yuno came to see me" and then theres a light and something breaking, people are pissed because they just didnt animate that part properly
I know right? I was glad that they ended when Yukiteru became forever alone.
It's great they left it like this. The last few scenes are such an asspull, it would of got even more hate had they included it.
What else can we possibly do? That's how the manga ended. Get over it people!

That was still my favorite part of the ending.
New Project = New Order??
Well that was predictable. After sealing Yuki and killing Ninth in ep 25, I kinda expected them to pull something out of their ass. Still, they way they pulled it out of their ass is disappointing, they just made everything happy. I couldn't even believe Forever Alone Yuki, I knew somehow she would appear. Still, looking forward to the new project, its not like the rest of the anime was bad.
Way better than the LOL SO RANDUM manga end.
I have seen lot of comments of fans who get angry at the manga ending for the "foolishness" of Yuno breaking the space-time wall with a hammer. Well, I think that they have not thought it properly. Yuno and her hammer are only the catalyst, it is obvious that the real power behind that is Deus. He is the damn god of space and time. They accept that it is possible to travel in time with his power, but don´t see that it is also possible to create an opening between two existing worlds, though it was difficult (they arrived like 10000 years later than expected and messed with the size of the worlds). If you give it a little bit of thinking, instead of just raging and complaining about it, you see that it is reasonable.
I actually liked this ending. It gives you hope they'll be together again and they didn't just bullsh*ts the logic of the universe in 3 panels like in the manga.
If you REALLY wanna complain though, tell me something: WHY WAS THERE NO ROOM FULL OF CEMENT? There was a room full of deadly gas... but no cement?!

It's what they get for being fans of that terrible series. If they had figured out that it was a moronic clusterfuck of idiotic characters and shitty twists.
It seems some of you are missing out on what's going on. The ending of the anime reaches a certain point of the manga's ending and stops. It's not the complete ending. Instead, they stopped it right as it got towards the end with a "next project" ploy.
What NEXT PROJECT... are these fucking idiots?
I just read the manga, and there's about 4 pages in all, that isn't included lol?... What do they want to make? An 5minute OVA? Or some kind of filler?
If they want some kinda next project, maybe they could make an anime from the new manga of the same mangaka... but this ending is just shit.

I always had a feeling the people doing Mirai Nikki are plotting/hiding something/mental/trying to make the thing worse.
