The father (the mustache guy) is a royal freakjob in the manga -- take every "I love my daughter~~~" type overprotective anime dad, now give him a huge lolicon fetish and blatant plans of keeping his daughter as a trophy her entire life and/or marrying her when she hits 18, and yeah.
