The OP "plot" is full-chiché. Not a single thing out of the norm.
The "music" is a crappy, soulless, bland techno cliché. Just an excuse for explosions and high movement rate in the second part of the OP "plot". Unlistenable.

I'm surprised no one thought of .Hack after watching this. But anyway, like the title of this article, I thought this show was "actually quite good." Throughout the episodes I was squealing like a pig, "that's so cool!" since I really like near-future-type anime. =)

I must say I was completely absorbed, I thought the intro was completely thought out and well executed - I had almost made the decision to keep up with this show when we were hit with the OBLIGATORY BATTLE SCENE right at the end - essentially changing the direction of the show into something that may have had a decent plot into a typical BATTLE MANGA - FML

The show has been decent but it has, without a doubt, the worst protagonist to ever be on a screen. Whether it's personality or design (especially in relation to the rest of the show), he is terrible.
The manga's meh. Protagonist is a spineless shit who goes through typical "weak but special" development. The light novel's better. I just don't get why he can't be somewhere between weak and strong.

the story is quite interesting, and the Girl is cute too, only one disappointment, yes the main guy is somehow "unique" but he has the personality, looks and actions of a loser, if he's originally a pig then he's somehow cute, but he's a human!!! i want to see the whole story but i think i won't like the fat guy..
