Nude protest group Femen have been decrying the excesses of the religion of peace, enhancing the impact of their latest nude provocation with a bloody and horrifically mutilated dash of the grotesque.
The band were intent on protesting Islam’s atrocious treatment of women in Paris and Istanbul, combining their trademark nudity with some especially striking use of makeup in order to draw attention to the beatings, murders and acid attacks more conservative Muslims have become notorious for inflicting in the name of honour:
