This Anime was incredible! From beginning to end I enjoyed it, and it also inspired me to pick up the Novels.

Incredible indeed, as in "not credible". I tried watching the first episode, but had to give up after 15 minutes because all the laughing was giving me stomach cramps.

i actually understand this "laughing" feeling.. i got it too during 1st ep.. it changes a bit to less "oh, so expected" way.. although.. it's all straightforward.. but i went over 1st ep and then i started to like it pretty much.. the end somehow disapointed me though.. i expected more in some way (dunno which actually..)

Yeah, this anime had a ton of flaws and things they should have done better but it was a hell of a ride regardless. And about the "disappearing glass", I think they were to make us believe that kouichi somehow removed all the glass from her :P

I hated the last two episodes. It was "Let's kill Misaki!", then Misaki not giving a shit, or glancing away, and suddenly something happens, getting killed whoever is chasing Misaki. I specially found it funny when Takako died trying to kill her. Shit was ripped off Disney's Tarzan movie, when Clayton is hunting down Tarzan and ends up killing himself like a retard. Akazawa's death was the same shit.
They tried to put a bunch of stuff together. So much stuff can't be really explained in two episodes.
and even then they didnt explain everything, and some things could have used some more fleshing out. Was still fun to watch though

Izumi was amazing but everything else was fucking stupid. Mei didn't want to expose who's the extra just because she was afraid of hurting Kouichi's feelings?
That's just fucked up if you'd ask me. Let the whole class die cuz of someone's feelings.

I'm at least happy Izumi got a great emotional death scene and died with a faint smile on her face, unlike the rest.
But didnt she not tell them because she didnt know what could be done about the extra if she told everyone anyway? I mean, they learn that you need to kill the extra AT the inn, which is where misaki tells kouichi she knows who it is.
I liked the entire show but I found myself dissapointed about the ending. The discovery of the "extra" character wasn't as awesome as they intended it to be. And I felt that the surviving characters were kind of random. Also, the most annoying thing was Misaki not giving a damn about people wanting to kill her. While twintails is trying to constantly kill her she is just walking around, not running or screaming. I was like WTF.
Anyway, such a pity that twintails had to die, does anyone know if she lives at the end of the manga or the novel?

It's kind of annoying how despite the series being so short, the manga and anime don't match; the endings are different. Makes you wonder which one that actually follows the novel, or heck, if any of them do.
The author has stated he plans to write a spin-off and a sequel, that will be interesting. There is also a Live-Action in the works -.-"
None of them do, Izumi got three totally different kind of endings and character focus in all these versions.
SPOILER:
Izumi in the novel is somewhat a minor character and gets killed by the inn mistress.
In the anime... You already know.
In the manga, she was survives til the end.
I liked the manga ending. Izumi survives. :)
