Nisemonogatari’s 11th episode finale has inspired a mixed reaction amongst its many fans – some are upset about the inconclusive nature of the ending, although few have gone so far as to seriously complain about what is widely regarded as a another tour de force by Shaft, particularly when there is more in the offing…
That the series apparently ended on the 11th rather than the 12th episode has also prompted some speculation about a possible 12th episode on the disc release, although as the 11th episode reportedly wrapped up the novel, it is not clear what content it might have.
As there are more light novels awaiting adaptation and the series has proven a goldmine for Shaft in both monetary and creative terms, a new ****monogatari series seems all but inevitable.
Damn, people are just too picky. It wasn’t SHAFT’s fault if it was bad. It’d be NISIOISIN’s fault… and we all know it isn’t his fault, because he’s a great fucking writer.
The entire series was meant to troll, obviously. Everything was way too over-the-top compared to Bakemonogatari, and the fact it’ called “Nisemonogatari” makes it seem that all of these encounters actually happened in the series but are portrayed to be “false” and over-the-top is most likely done on purpose.
In short: don’t feed the trolls.
i dunno understanding regarding about the ep 11, aragi with who? at the end
Just google the monogatari series, there are many light novels to be adapted. Its a simple cliff hanger most 11-12 ep long anime seasons go through. Then the BD will have a 12th episode (uncharacteristic of Shaft but still) and we’ll wait for the prequel film and next anime season and possible other films based on light novels they dont wish to adapt (like character specific ones; maybe even put two into one).
There is still kizumonogatari people need to stfu
I was expecting a good ending, because Anime has such a great track record for endings. . .
