Saber is a Class in the Grail War. While most people are familiar with Arturia (who was summoned as a Saber in Fate Zero and Fate Stay Night), there are plenty of other Sabers that could be summoned - Gawain, Nero, and Siegfried are examples.
Sometimes Servants summoned into another Class could have been summoned as Sabers. Diarmuid (Fate Zero Lancer) could have been summoned as a Saber, and Joan of Arc (of the Ruler Class in Fate Apocrypha) also could have been summoned as a Saber.
I never liked Fate/Extra's Saber. Her design seemed to have been based on marketing decisions more than anything else.
I don't believe that marketing bit for one second. I prefer Fate/Extra's Saber (Nero) over Fate's Artura, because of her fun personality and her lovely design.
@10:25 nope, Fate/Extra's Saber resembles Fate's Arturia for a reason. It's not copy and paste, because Kinoku Nasu uses the theory that Arturia is related to Nero, hence the resemblance.
By marketing, I believe he means that they practically copy and pasted arturias design for nero, rather than using a completely new design.

hmmm... For those wondering why this Saber is uncharacteristic. This Is Fate/Extra's Saber Nero Claudius. The Fate/Stay's Saber is Arturia Pendragon. Kinda Weird, Coz Nero Claudius is Petite and the bust size of this figure is i think, a bit too big for her. Great Face though.

As "23:28" says, she not Saber from Fate/Stay Night or Fate/Zero (namely King Arthur(ia)) but Saber from Fate/Extra and Fate/Extra CCC (who is a completely different character). Saber from Fate/Extra is a rather playful character who could have this kind of "smile".
