    As a future dentist, I must remember this possible scenario for potentially frivolous law suit that may follow from certain 'knowledgeable' populations who think just because I need to poke around with cleaners in their mouth that I am somehow getting sexual thrill off of their plaque-infested, cum smelling, god-knows-what-goes-in-there mouths.

    I always thought it's because of having to become the hunchback of notredame from stooping over disgusting mouths of hundreds of people during their lifetime and having to clean out every single filth imaginable out of them.

    that, and crippling dental school loan payments coupled with ridiculous 'emotional damage' and frivolous malpractice lawsuits that essentially render being a dentist about as profitable as being a highly paid truck driver.

    no wonder people are doing public sector practices now adays.
