Even the creepy otaku of 2ch have been speaking admiringly of the love their overseas counterparts have been lavishing on their fictional Valentines, particularly those of a mahou shoujo persuasion.
Western otaku have been emulating their Japanese namesakes by enjoying a romantic evening with their 2D girlfriends:
