Shinobu spoke again, im satisfied.
The ero was a nice bonus, but the real reason to watch Nisemonogatari is for the awesome characters and the great dialogue between said awesome characters. And any episode that Shinobu speaks in, is a good episode.

Actually, for those that have read the novel, adult Shinobu is pretty much as hyperactive, selfish, and mood swinging as Haruhi.

Honestly, when I first heard her speak, two episodes ago, I thought it *was* Aya. I could still guess that, if I didn't know better. It's not like I'm unfamiliar with Maaya Sakamoto, either (RahXephon is one of my all-time favorites). If they ever make more Haruhi and Aya's out, they should seriously consider Maaya for it.

Well I hate tease anime's anyway.. If your going to be ero be ero.. if your going to be ecchi be ecchi.. but stop playing the damn fence! This anime is a damn tease just like Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai which I hated for the same damn reason! I do not UNDERSTAND why viewers like to be damn well teased.. I hate it! I'll stick with anime like Highschool DxD and R-15 that was not a damn tease.. it's what it is!

Don't get me wrong, a genre should play to it's strengths but there's nothing wrong having multiple strengths. Bake/Nise blends ero and story very well.
People are drawn in at by creative and tasteful ero but they stay for the story and the characters. That's the charm of Bake/Nise.

well it is a bloody well written and great visual directing of the show, the ero was great but I kinda dont mind it not being in it, but it is moving really slow. I think its partly due to this story seems to be getting dragged a long quite a bit, like its 6 episodes now to do with the fire bee before it was like 2-3 episodes for the storys, whether they are delibrately milking the length or its a long story are obviously the deciders, it could do with speeding up a bit.
Words cannot describe how Godly this Anime is.

Seriusly? What made this series awesome was its weird story, narrative and style. If you want to fap to your monitor you can watch the other 3 bazillion series that only feature bouncing tits and lolis.

Too much senjogahara, too little shinobu sama
I am very much enjoying the show and it's pacing. and I still think "Pornomonogatari" is excessive. It's a show with a lot of dialogue and a ton of fairly well developed characters. If people just want ero anime, they should stick to Queen's Blade or something
Are you kidding me? Compared to Bakemonogatari, the pacing in this thing is TERRIBLE...
The pacing is certainly different, but hardly worse. Bakemonogatari felt rushed at times, while they tried to cram five arcs into a fifteen episode schedule that probably should have been twenty-four. This time they've only got two arcs, instead of five, so the pace is bound to be slower.
Given that this is a dialogue-heavy show, that's not really a bad thing. The anon above is right: "Pornomonogatari" is fine as a joke, but really it's hardly fair, as the story SO much deeper than the endless stream of soft-porn that so many studios are shitting out recently. The fanservice here is a bonus, not the core: the hors d'oeuvres, not the main course.
It's also not an action-oriented story. It's a story where character development is the main focus. It depends heavily on dialogue, and Araragi's internal monologue. Notice how we're NOT being subjected to constant bombardment with walls of text from the novel this time? That's a direct result of the more relaxed pace. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the first series immensely, but I'm enjoying the story even more now that the pace is less frenetic.
I agree, as exciting and heart pounding it was to keep up with 5 arcs in 15 episodes in Bakemono I found myself rewatching numerous episode just to let it all sink it. Nisemono is much more relaxed and I can take me time to enjoy the dialogue and understand the story, even though I'm still a bit perplexed as to what some characters actual intentions are; but that may be due to the oddly worded subs :P

'Nisemonogatari' seems to be invented on-the-fly, and lacking continuity. "Hey," the writers said, "We partied too late last night, our minds are fucked-up right now, and we need a script by the end of today. Let's throw in a bunch of loli-situation-fanservice, and call it good enough."
Um, you DO know that Nisemonogatari was adapted right? As in, the light novels went first before the anime. As in, it's not anime-original?
