Funny that you brought up that epic pantyshot in the intro of the first episode of the previous season, Hanekawa's fancy panties was the main reason I first got attracted to the series. Now that it successfully proved that it's one of those few shows that can provide you the satisfaction of great characters, well done storyline, cute girls and delicious fanservice at the same time without spoiling the balance, I'm glad that I became a fan of this series :)

Season one was the best that particular season saw according to popularity votes, season two will dominate once again. As much as I'm gonna personally love me a sequel to milky Holmes, it's not gonna beat out Nisemonogatari.

Just finished watching the first episode of Nisemonogatari and holy crap. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. CR actually did a decent job on this. Translation was quite accurate and flowed pretty nicely. They even left in the honorifics and stuff like Onii-chan. Was not expecting this at all.
But of course, we haven't really delved into much Japanese puns, tradition, folklore, superstition, so I'm still anxious about how they'll handle that.
Other than that, they really need to start subbing the OP and ED credits.

it always good to watch the sequel before prequel it often safe you from phail ending. in the nature of japanese novel that will complete the arc or the problem in the 1 volume of novel i bet it will give you not much of change in the flow of series (prequel. watching sequel first before prequel too can add element of surprise
