Bandai Visual joins the legion of companies to suffer embarrassing hacks, having been forced to take a number of its sites offline as a result.
According to Bandai Visual’s official statement, intrusions on a number of its sites were detected, and whilst it works out what happened it will be taking them offline as a “precaution.” It does not say when they occurred or how long it took for them to be detected.
Bandai claims none of the personal information stored on the affected servers was compromised, and that as no credit card details were stored there is no danger of credit card fraud.
The sites affected are .Anime, Emotion Family Club, Digital Beat, and Digital Bambino.

I'm OK with this.
After what they did to Hellgate: London, that is.
Who is next?
Square enix...
Weren't they hacked already? You want them to be hacked again? Have some mercy man...
Mercy is a sign of weakness! For as long as the enemies of Man still draw breath there can be no peace!
No Mercy!
Sweep the leg!
i used to think mercy was a weakness like you, then i took an arrow to the knee...

somebody wrote all over the decorations outside a game company again...
vandalism. hacking still, but it's just vandalism. wah. not like the Sony or Valve attacks.
Stupid hackers.
First Sony, then SEGA, not Bandai?
Nintendo's next. Watch.
I mean, *now Bandai*, not *not Bandai*.
thx god I thought u were stupid... but I agree nintendo would be next japan game company target
There is NO god in first place!
Maybe they'll grow some balls and hack Microsoft.
Look Nintendo is hacker central I bet they used a wii to hack Sony....
wacingcong kue pancong
oh too bad
Let me guess...
MD5 compromitation?
Your guess is probably as good as MD5("966214"). My guess is SQL injection. Or perhaps it's a stealth virus that spreads across game development companies :)
Don't Tell Me TT Hongli Hacked the company!!!
$200 says Anon is at it again.
Me hatez /b/ Dx
....sure a shit load of stuff getting hacked lately
U can blame the Anonymous hacking group for the increase in hacks across the world..
Anonymous isn't behind every hacking incident, you know....
Why is it that when people speak of anonymous, you make them sound like some kind of defined group of idividuals and but just a random bunch?
Hopefully soon these companies will realize they can't just slap together any old hardware/software and expect it to protect a company.
Perhaps the saddest part of the whole ordeal is that people are still giving these companies their credit card numbers. Glass vaults anyone?
Security is expensive.
Blame them fricking stupid hackers instead.
dont worry ban aid youre not the only one
Anaheim Electronics is behind all of this!
shoulda known. those bastards will take over the world one day and make giant robots!
I understand sony, I understand steam
I don't understand why people need to hack bandai...
my first thought is "why?, what do they even have?"
"Bandai claims none of the personal information stored on the affected servers was compromised"
Ain't that what they all say at first? You better block your card now, before they change their annoucement when it's too late.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Well, it doesn't seem as problematic as previous hacks. Btw, sony got hacked last week, but there was no report of it over here?
Well, they can just get some underage androgynous female to destroy Cubia can't they?
What's the problem?
Damn it its those no-good chinese hacks again =_+ first they got bored with CIA shit and now they're hacking other major corporation sites....... sighs.....
