I wouldn't have much of a problem with tsundere if they weren't so ridiculously over-hyped and sickeningly over-used as a result. I'll admit, though, Haruhi's pretty decent so far as her archetype goes (though hardly my favorite from her respective series, and Sigh was definitely the highpoint of her bitchiness). Really, I can still like them so long as they aren't those types that cross the line between "shy and withdrawn, to a harsh extent" and "fucking violent psychopath that automatically assumes the poor bastard of a male lead, whom is doomed to end up with her anyway just because, is a pervert simply because he possesses a Y-chromosome". This is made all the worse by the fact that several of the more popular ones, most notably light novel characters that end up being voiced by Rie Kugimiya, don't even have a buxom body to compensate such a shitty personality, but I can take solace in the fact that the full list seems to be devoid of even a single Rie role. Now that's what I call a Christmas miracle. ^^

Finally! Manami gets some long-overdue attention. I've never understood why she wasn't more popular.
That character arctype seems to not be popular as a whole. Hanekawa from Bakemono, Tsumugi from K-ON (maybe not AS much anymore), and so on don't seem to get the love from fans that they probably deserve.
In fact the only one from that arctype that has in a while is Mami from Madoka.
The only thing that actually saved Mami from falling into that Hell pit of Underratedness was her (unique) death and how shortlived she was as a main character.
