Chinese pondering the differences in national character supposedly reflected in the school buses of Japan and the USA need look no further than their own “buses” for some rather painful introspection…
These pictures show a recent accident involving a school bus which collided with a coal truck, resulting in 20 deaths, 18 of which were kindergarteners.
The accident’s severity was exacerbated by the fact that 64 passengers were riding a bus intended to carry only 9, a practice local officials were aware of but chose to ignore.
The final picture shows how to upgrade a bus rated for 7 children into one for carrying 32, China style – simply tear out all the seats:

In my opinion, it’s not easy to rule a country with more than a billion people, look at India which is democratic, seriously no one here give a damn at all regardless how terrible the situation but China despite the progress they made pretty much no credit at all given.
What matter most is they keep moving forward despite setbacks, hardship and criticism like Japan after world war 2, yes many problems but no pain no gain as they say, looking at the current situation around the world one may wonder what would 10 years from now look like?
