And however much you like English (or any other language) over Japanese, it is true that in most cases the Japanese version has a much better feel to it than English one. Whether that is caused by the characteristics of the language of the superior voice acting is less important.

My first thought was that it's a bit derpy.
Would be nice if anime characters started to each look unique and special. Like we can see a character and instantly know who she/he is and her personality and what anime or game she/he is from.

Damn JAST will you publish a worthwhile NEW VN for a change? We have enough with waiting for the translations just for you to grab them afterwards and profit. Grab a VN that is GOOD and has had good reception and no translating group has touched, and fucking publish that. Preferably one with better char designs.
Well you can't blame them for taking on old stuff. It's incredibly expensive to buy copyrights from the original producers. I think I remember Key asking for like $1,000,000 for porting Kanon. For companies that cater to niche markets like JAST, that's just too much risk.

From what it seems Xuse is busy milking the Name, hell they are about to bring the first to PSP.
Also there where 4 Years between the first and the second ... so I wouldn't bury it yet.

The team that made Eien no Aselia and Seinarukana were Xuse Honjouzou, they broke off and formed the company Eternal. They've already released 3(?) games, Tenkuu no Yumina, it's fandisk Yumina FD, Ten no Hikari ha Koi no Hoshi and Gin no Toki no Corona just came out. And the copyrights for EoA lies with the parent Xuse company. So yeah. No EoA3 ever.
