Man I love Tony, he is my favourite mangaka/game artist.
I know I'm probably in the minority but I dislike how most of his females seem to be a bit emotionless. I don't really feel anything looking at them. I'm just like, "That's hot... in theory...".
It's Tony Taka's style of drawing eyes. They are more similar to the "hypnotized" anime eyes than the usual active anime eyes.
I think most of the faces he draws look the same. It's more noticeable when it's an original character because you don't actively think "hey that's a nice *insert character here* drawing."
It's a common technique ever since people knew how to draw people to use a set amount of variations in the facial features. Look at Chinese paintings, Byzantine icons, Roman mummy portraits, etc.
In modern times, you look at Disney princesses, and other classic cartoons- they only have at most six faces. It's a shorthand so that it's faster to convey a story rather than focus on a character's "uniqueness"- to us, what really matters are the emotions expressed by these characters as they undergo compelling scenarios.
Of course, there's anime/manga, but there are some notable exceptions where characters ARE unique from each other. Like Full Metal Alchemist, I couldn't find a character that has the exact carbon copy of another character's face with only shallow differences like color or hairstyle/costume.
If you ever see the sex scenes of some of the girls that's where the emotions and perspective really shine when it comes to T2 artwork.
Well, it depends on what you like.
I like his works, but mostly for the clean style of drawing, so I don't mind lack of emotion. But when I'm looking for images that convey particular emotions, I do stay away from them.
But I do agree that girls with emotions are hotter than girls without (that also applies to "3D girls", if anyone is wondering) - probably has something to do with the fact that they appear more lively.

There's no doubt he's a talented artist - his art just isn't moving in a lot of cases.
