Music Rayn, the agency of top Yuinyan seiyuu Aki Toyosaki, is saying it will take aggressive legal action against the stalker who uncovered the probable fact that she lives with her musician boyfriend Tom H@ck, whilst Toyosaki has commented on the claims, saying “he listened to my private worries.”
The agency promises legal action “of a criminal or civil nature” against “some thoughtless fans” who operate the site in question, saying their acts “threaten the safety of our business and seiyuu” and “caused considerable psychological harm” to their seiyuu.
They also promise legal action against anyone else stalking or threatening their seiyuu, which probably covers most seituu fans at some point.
Regarding the actual suppositions of the site regarding her private life, they only address them in passing, accusing them of “making speculative writings.”
Finally, they say they will be stopping their seiyuu from updating their blogs so as to “guarantee their safety.”
Although many are delighted that he is being pursued, there is some doubt as to whether the stalker in question has actually done anything actionable or gone beyond the sort of paparazzi stalking most celebrities must endure – although presumably the company’s lawyers think otherwise.
Accompanying their legal threats, no less than Aki Toyosaki herself posted a long and very vaguely worded update on her blog, saying “sad things” in her private life do not affect her voice work and describing Tom H@ck, her presumed lover, as “someone who respects my work and listened to my private worries.”
The fact that this in no way comprises a denial has attracted a great deal of comment.
All the other members of her “Sphere” group also posted similar updates at the same time, with broadly similar themes and a general lack of content. Tom H@ck for his part has already closed his blog.
After so many scandals, online there is now a distinct scepticism about the efforts of seiyuu and their agencies to maintain the fiction that all seiyuu are sweet little virgins living the mental and physical lives of 11-year-olds:
“Crush them!”
“They’ve admitted it!”
“This is practically confirmation.”
“With that much evidence all they can do is admit it.”
“It’s a bit late in coming.”
“Arrest that stalker.”
“So it’s OK for a weekly magazine to do this, but it’s NG for a blog to do it?”
“How does this differ from a scoop in one of those magazines?”
“If this is a crime then the whole of the mass media are criminals as well.”
“By identifying an unknown perpetrator as a ‘fan’ they are basically thinking of all their fans potential criminals.”
“They are laying it on pretty thick considering she is not a virgin after all.”
“They admit defeat! They admit Toyosaki and Tom F@ck live together and do it – are those Toyosaki fans still breathing?”
“You are just guessing. There is no real evidence she lives with Tom F@ck.”
“She didn’t deny living with him. OUT.”
“They just want to go on tricking their fans as if nothing has happened.”
“So they were busy pushing her as a doll but they didn’t do any risk management. What an amateur agency.”
“These seiyuu just need to stop lying to everyone by saying they have no boyfriends.”
“So they want to make money off otaku maintaining their images as virgins, but in private they want to do any guy they fancy?”
“This is worse than Hirano.”

Stop Stalking Aki Toyosaki & Aya Hirano, they're not instant celebrities like the ones who are famous in Movie Industry, it reduces self-esteem, and ruin other people's reputation by stalking like a dog or a lone wolf.
at this moment, you have a score of minus zero!
What strange comment ratings we are seeing here.
Most of them seem badly scrambled.
Well, the Japanese Government needs to do more about these stalkers who are obsessed with all these young seiyus who voiced moe/kawaii girls or lolis, instead banning certain manga or anime shows, or even censoring all their porn which is already silly; people pay to watch black borders and mosaic in their porn. Isn't that weird?
I hope sue that moron & they win. That should show those crazy otakus to get a life
Then who will buy their CDs and merchandise?
True fans that respect people's private lives perhaps?
wait, wait, wait. If you were her position, you're totally okay w some stalking fan to send you a letters bug your private social life? Wow... I have nothing more to say
How about their real fans who genuinely like their singing and voice-acting, and not their virginity?
I am not some 2ch weirdo, i let girl seiyuu`s live the life they choose, and i purchase a lot of their otaku stuff. What about 5.000 Euro/year?
No need to stalk, time is better spent watching anime, playing guitar & reading manga!
Sue Them All.Poor guys.
Restaining orders would probably be a good start. Also, even if there are no technical criminal violations, I am sure that a good lawyer can get some civil judgements. If they make examples of a few stalkers, then the rest will back off and give the seiyuu some breathing room and a little privacy.
When you're in a business of causing people with obsessive personalities to become obsessed with you, then you kind of have to expect a stalker sooner or later.
It might also help to not create the illusion of a virginal innocent maiden when you aren't.
>It might also help to not create the illusion of >a virginal innocent maiden when you aren't.
That's always confused me. Do the Otaku just want to believe that, or are the managing agencies actively creating that?
They want to believe that, and the agencies avoid mentioning these things knowing how many mental fans would cause an fuss over this.
The answer is 'Sure', and 'Whatever gets us the sales'.
why would they even fucking care if the voice of a child in an anime had a boyfriend?
"It might also help to not create the illusion of a virginal innocent maiden when you aren't." what? its their job to do that so that thier voice is believable. . .
the logic of some is really retarded. .
What?
How does pretending to be a virgin that has never even heard the word "sex" in real life help to make your voice acting better?
Its the same as believing "idols don't poop" but you know they do.
...Is Sankaku over-run with trolls or something...? It seems there's a disproportionate amount of down voted posts over the last few articles. I'm not used to seeing you down voted, Yoshii-kun. Especially for a valid statement.
2ch is not liking to see gaijin tell them how fucked up they are :p
It's fairly easy for someone to become typecast into a role. Mark Hamill was well known for his role as Luke Skywalker and was stuck being known as "the hero". Later on, he played as the voice of the Joker in Batman with that wicked laugh. >:D
Anyway, some Otaku believe the character is real while managing agencies bank on the believable character. It's a vicious cycle overall. It happens with all fans towards their "precious", some just have tougher security to deal with than others.
The otaku just "want" to believe it, the agencies create the illusions and stalker say "fuck it" and uncover the truth just to troll the seiyuu-fans.
True but look at idols of other country, they all date freely and their fan still supports them like beiber. only those 2ch stalks their every movement, sends deaththreat and tracks them down irl to their homes... isn't that scary and abnormal?
not to mention send picture of their penis.
I sent a picture of my penis to Bieber last week.
That's different though, beiber likes penises.
They don't have idols in other countries the same way they have idols in Japan.
The celebrities in other countries never portrayed themselves as something they aren't. It's understandable that people with an unhealthy obsession of you that you're milking money from would become enraged when you turn out to be totally false.
And these aren't either. The whole virginity thing? All in your head.
Please look up the difference between "optimistic and idealistic" and "virginal".
Also, please link any statements where they say "I'm a virgin" and it was a lie.
Getting real sick of the "blame the victims" mentality.
How did you get (-0) rating! it's awesome :D more so than (+10)!
But let me correct you: when you're in a business involving fame, power, or money, then you kind of have to expect a stalker sooner or later.
If the people in 2ch can say that J.K.'s are all whores, then shouldn't they automatically understand that these seiyuu that are past that age are not virgins either? FFS, why do they care if they were virgo or not...
This man speaks the truth.
"When you're in a business of causing people with obsessive personalities to become obsessed with you..."
I could have sworn they were in the business of voice acting fictional characters and singing songs.
And tell me, is there some sort of special uniform that only virgins are allowed to wear?
There's a difference between being presented as optimistic and idealistic, and being presented as virginal. I'm thinking a whole lot of otaku are missing that difference.
These people are disturbingly funny. Freak seiyuu otaku.
They're the worst kind.
Apparently a few have taken it upon themselves to vote down the comments of anyone with an ounce of sanity tonight as well. Whether or not it's technically illegal, stalking is flat out wrong. There's no legitimate justification you can come up with for potentially ruining someone's personal life, and honestly I think it would improve things considerably if legal action could be taken against stalkerish/paparazzi behavior. People are always watching and waiting to find something to destroy those that are popular, and as a fellow human being, I find it disgusting.
I'm on your side..
my post is gone u can bet something fishy is going on here...
Only in Japan
Only in these numbers in Japan.
Not like the rest of the world is better when it comes to pursuing celebs.
But supposedly, these seiyuu are considered to be more approachable (2ch thread) than actual celebs.
Still doesn't justify stalkers right outside your home tho.
So it's Celebrity Stalking on Easy Mode?
*Easy Mode Celeb Stalking*
-security strength and AI is reduced by 3/4.
-boss strength and AI reduced by 1/2.
-outside assistance enabled.
-consequences virtually eliminated.
The sad thing is? I suspect this would be a record shattering best seller.
I agree with this. Get restraining order, and the agency should hire bodyguards or something before one of those seiyuu otaku snaps.
Well, Otaku paparazzi is different than celeb paparazzi. Let them have'em. Protect Aki and the other seiyuu..
Well, at least Azunyan is still untouched.
Um, it did happened!
she got raped many times in doujins though
They're just trying to protect the stalkers. We all know that seiyuu are like suns, and if you get too close, you will burn up in the bright light of their perfection. So we should be thankful to the agencies for trying to save the mindless masses by keeping them at a distance. I wouldn't want to see Aki Toyosaki break out her secret mortal kombat level moves and rip out the stalker's spine. If it weren't for our protector agencies, these actors and seiyuu could rampage and climb our apartment buildings and punch holes in the windows and eat us to restore their health points. Thankfully we have all those tanks to shoot them until they get enough damage to fall to the ground and mutate back into a human and run off the screen.
“These seiyuu just need to stop lying to everyone by saying they have no boyfriends.”
Since when did she say she didn't?
Her radio show.
Honestly, do you think she can just say out loud so that everyone can hear it that she has a boyfriend? No. She can't say "yes" and she can't even gloss over it, because that would be regarded as affirmative avoidance of matter. If she said yes, it would make a huge mess and her agency would get mad at her as well. Unfortunately, some idiot decided to make this huge mess himself, which no one could have seen coming. Now we can argue whether it would have been better if she told the truth herself (actually, we still don't know how much of it is true) rather than the fact being revealed by some anti-fan. However, what we can say with no doubt is that the best possible scenario would have been if nothing about this had come to light and people could still suppose that Aki-chan doesn't have a boyfriend. It sucks that some idiot had to breach the status quo.
As for myself, whatever happens, I will keep supporting Aki-chan, and things like this only strengthen my determination and devotion.
wouldn ' t it be possible she didn ' t had a boyfriend when she made her radio show but had one a couple days or weeks after .
yeah that's possible..
Yeah, ever hear of how time and events advance? She probably started actually dating the guy after that show.
A shocking concept, the way people continue to do things even when not on the air.
