Taiwan’s School Uniforms “Even Cuter Than Japan’s”

Japanese and Taiwanese alike have been united in praise of the cuteness of Taiwan’s schoolgirl population, most of whom seem to be dressed in uniforms which equal or exceed the cuteness of Japan’s own legendarily fashion-conscious school garb.

Yeah, they're really about the same exact thing.
They also didn't use all that "great" of examples for girls with a few exceptions.

These outfits are pretty cute, but yeah I'd say they look a lot like what you'd find in a typical girl's wardrobe. Taiwanese girls are pretty cute too, I might have to visit someday.

It's not an illusion. There IS no difference. There's even some great uniform choices even in Africa where they often use uniforms. But they don't get to wear swanky blazers due to the hot climes.
These all look like normal uniforms... Nothing special about them at all.
