The Figma version of squid invader Ika Musume looks to be very cute indeed, particularly in her short-tentacled version.
By Max Factory, she is set to be released in March 2012.
Ika-chan can be pre-ordered now.

dislike the joints a bit
I’ve pre-ordered … yeaaaa
And this is why I can’t even eat squid anymore.
At least three faces and three hairstyles? It’s a bargain.
I kinda wished that Index sparkly hungry eyes was part of the package as well.

@Senjou: You bring up an interesting point. Has anyone tried swapping faces with different figmas? Would it work?
@Anonymous: Yes, swapping faces with different figmas are possible, it really depends. Some figma have smaller faces and some have larger ones.
I do believe the Index figma face should be able to be swapped with Ika musume figma if they belong in the same face size category.
Though slight discrepancies with the eyebrow or so.
No doubt about it.. As far as articulated figures go, the Figma line is indeed the best. And I think they’re getting even better.
