Its the 'eyes' that matter, not the shape of them.
No no no, the shape is pretty much the only thing that matters, but the censor is still disruptive of the shape and distracting and covers very much appreciated skin.
What I lament is that when the censorship is removed there still isn't going to be any much to comment on.
Many people question why current anime has so much service. I'm of the opinion that mixing good character development and even some plot with ecchi is a great idea, but since we are now completely aware that we are selling softcore porn with plot, why not walk the extra mile and make it a hentai?
It doesn't even have to be terribly explicit. I think Seikon no Qwaser did it right. Specially the second season.

original had H scene but that's about it for the fanservice, you spend more time on fight/comedy than sex .
At a glance, it looks like it's trying to be a straight, clean VN. After all, Momoyo's main game path is basically clean of sex(you only get to fuck her in the after-story, front and back).
To me though, that's just them refusing to tie the main character to a female that has no moe quality to sell to moe otaku losers. Every other character lets you fuck them even before the ending, MULTIPLE TIMES. It's straight out porn, not just 'fanservice'.
They did another similar anime (They are My Noble Masters [Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de]). Actually, Kuki Ageha (silver-haired girl with x scar on her forehead) was one of the love interests in that anime.
In this one they got her brother , and the sequel of the eroge will feature her imouto and mother (?) also ... we're invaded by the kuki !
Oh and let's not forget the robot .
