Buffalo Bell, the new bovine kigurimi mascot of the Orix Buffaloes baseball team, has proven such a sensation online that she is already releasing her own photo album – so adorable is she that a great many of her unwilling fans are being forced to confront not only their inner doller but their inner furry as well…
For those not familiar with (Japanese) baseball games, many teams have similar mascots, with their main role being to caper entertainingly in intermissions as relief from the tedium of the game itself:
Online she is universally popular:
“She’s sexy!”
“No change!”
“Her legs are so shapely…”
“It’s probably a man inside anyway.”
“The bone structure is obviously female. It’s a female inside.”
“These kigurumi dancers are basically always female.”
“I’ll buy that! She’s cute!”
“Will the kemonoers buy this?”
“Those crazed kemonoers are going to onanise all over this then?”
“The door is opening and I am scared.”
“I’m absolutely buying this.”
“She’s adorable in profile.”
“Don’t forget Buffalo Bull!”
“There really are a lot of cases where the little sister is cute and her brother is ugly, aren’t there?”
“Would you lot go crazy if the person inside dated the person in another mascot?”
“Those foreigners are going to be saying how crazy the Japanese are again, aren’t they?”
“She’s so cute!”
“I really want to have sex with her in that costume…”
“Why would you buy this? To onanise over?”
“Creepy. Why would they even sell something like this?”
“This is the pinnacle of the kigurumi art! Whoever designed this costume is a genius.”
“I’d like to see her in different costumes, like as a miko or something.”
“I hate furries as much as anyone else but what is this I feel stirring within me…”
“There will be more kemonoers after this comes out.”
“I want it but buying this is too difficult – it’s a bit higher level a purchase than your usual porn album.”
“3D has something worthwhile to it after all…”
Buffalo Bell’s new photo album is available for pre-order now.
Behold the power of Kawaii.
I don’t really see why so many people, especially Westerners, have a problem with the Kawaii-fication of Japanese culture, and subsequently Asian culture in general. What’s wrong with a whole culture enjoying cute things? Why can’t you be an adult and enjoy childish things along with adult things? Why is it arrested development?
I can’t imagine these people having platonic unemotional relationships with puppies and kittens.
The arms and legs aren’t furry, that’s cheating. It’s pandering to people’s nylon/shiny fetishes, like bodysuits… and Super Sentai…
Sexy? I think the word they’re looking for is cute, adorable, huggable, ect. And how is Buffalo Bull ugly? They could pass for fraternal twins.
I know this is shallow of me but if a team has a bison as their mascot then I like them. Really I only know about the Sabers, Bisons and the Bills since I don’t exactly fallow sports. I’ve started to kind of liking the Bills since they’re kicking ass like never before. I welcome Buffalo Bull and Buffalo Bell into my heart.
she should marry sonic …
