The long-awaited anime adaptation of Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (“I have few friends”) has been extremely well received, marking it out as the season’s favourite in only the first episode.

The plot seems like a rip off of haruhi. Also chicks with bi colored eyes bothers me so I probably won't be watching it... then again that's just my opinion after the first episode.

Saying this is a Haruhi rip-off makes you on par with the idiots who claim everything that just happened to look slightly identical and possess similar poses are plagiarisms.
no,no,no its actually a ripoff, but all that is intended, most characters are practically out of another ligth novel and they dont try to hide that, just look at the seiyuus, also you can see that anything this series does "haruhi did it"from making a movie to going to a villa, but the way these things happens is what makes this series good.

Seems to have a big following over there, it's only natural the anime would enjoy success. Just don't troll it away with the "let's fuck up the adaptation" formula and everyone will be happy. Avoid QUALITY, stay true to the original, make it an above average production, and suddenly your car insurance rates spike because you can't drive down the street without people hurling clouds of money at you.

the original is a light novel, actually. It's pretty funny!
It's from the people who made OreImo, so I think the quality will turn out well and pretty close to the original.
I've been looking forward to this for a long time after reading the manga and some of the light novels. It's good to see it finally here. It's got some really brutal parodies and satire of otaku cultures, it's one of those that changes the way you look at some media.

God, I played through the VN, it was alright, but absolutely not worth the insane hype/fandom it got.
It was also beyond strange to hear seyuu's like Honna Youko (Sumeragi-gundam00, Nagisa-pretty cure, etc.) doing hentai scenes at the end of routes for sure..
They where SOOOOOO unatural, and just freaking so bad they had you laughing out loud.

I didn't like the first episode. It's because the Art was too pretty. Made the tone feel too serious. Now, this series does have a SMALL bit serious in it, but for the most part it's a light comedy. Focusing on the serious parts, which are hardly there, make the anime feel dull, really dull.
There needs to be more gag conventions, like sweat drops, angry veins, chibi facial expressions, fun backgrounds, ect. Then this series would be AWESOME!
But as of the 1st ep, it just appears shallow and dull. (compared to the chapters in the LN and manga, I was already laughing my socks of at this point)
How old are you, thirteen? That stupid gag shit in anime is why 90 of anime are complete garbage. The tear drops and stuff work once in a great while, but most shows totally overdo it, making the comedy seem geared towards retarded teenagers.
