Maken-Ki! “Season’s Sexiest”?

I think this new anime needs some yuri in order to lessen its genericness. Just my opinion. And this anime looks a bit like Ikki Tousen.

And yet, tv-censored or bd-"not-censored", you shall not see genitals, ever, at all cost. Because a few old farts and late meiji period overinterpreted nonsense say so.

I'm very cautious about this manga and show...

I've read a good chunk of the manga, and it was fine and all, but then I started looking into Takeda Hiromitsu's other works. Obviously anyone looking him up will see all the ero-doujin he's made, which is just fine, but most of it is NTR rage material...

...Of which I think I ran across one of Maken-ki in the past in that vein, and I'm almost completely sure Hiromitsu created it, or someone perfectly copied his style.

Either way, it kind of soured me to the whole thing. <_<

I enjoy the manga, so I've been looking forward to the anime. I just can't wait until Aki, the HOT school nurse, makes her appearance.

Season's sexiest?! So wrong! Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai is! Sexy opening, characters are sexy, protagonist isn't a total idiot, and the show has humor. Maken-ki just has a bunch of half-assed fanservice with some interesting fights.

I don't know if anyone has said it in the comments before, but this is an anime based on a manga by Takeda Hiromitsu.

Takeda Hiromitsu is probably one of the best drawers of doujinshi today (for me he's the best, but just my opinion). In fact, he is more known by his doujinshis than by his actual manga.

Anyway, boobs, and pantsu. What else?

Seriously harem fans, what makes this series worth watching over the countless of other uninspired schlock that came before it? What's the point of watching the same cliche's over and over again? I know entertainment value is relative, but sheesh there has to be a limit. I'm sorry but, fanservice just can't carry a series. At least have SOMETHING interesting going on or attempt to avoid genre cliches along with providing fanservice. *Cough* Like Ben-To! *Cough*

Did anyone else notice how much better the characters looked in the ED than in the actual episode? The girls actually looked beautiful rather than generic idiots.

Man, I'm kinda disapointed. I thought the title read 'Season's Sexist' and was like WTF. I wanted to see what kinda #%@^ed up depravity was so bad it would actually make someone call sexism considering all the panties, boob sucking, pissing, and 'sex you didn't even know you wanted' that's usually on.

Well to be fair the author of this series has a bunch of decent doujin that are pretty hot. No doubt he's quite happy that he's gotten so far in his career.

I think his (the author) name is Taker as well? Or has that in his name somewhere, something like that.
