censoring a show might make watchers pay to see more, however they've forgotten that if the watchers don't get what they wanted to see at all, they'll stop watching the show and FLIP THE FUCKING CHANNEL.
And how can you sell BD/DVDs of something that nobody watches in the first place??
So in order to make people buy the BDs, they censor to hell the ONE THING that makes a series a draw. But since there's no actual plot, thought, or clever humor put into the series, people tune out and not buy the BDs anyway.

is not about censoring cleavage, is about censoring stuff so people would go buy blue rays so they can see 10 seconds of cleavage and 3 of boobs...and pay like 30 bucks for two episodes!

you know why today's anime sucks? because anime with a good story lacks good animation, anime with good animation has zero originality, and anime that's not even supposed to have depth such as fanservice anime is censored to high hell... and then the so-called uncensored version hardly provides shots that are worth getting the BD for.
Yes so true. And also BD comes over extended periods of time with only two freaking episodes on each one. Talk about stealing your money.

This is really sad. Why don't they just release this crap straight to DVD or BD, oh that's right, they have to fool those dumbasses that they'll be getting something better to waste their money on. Thank you 80s and early 90s anime, where we didn't have to worry about censorship or "ZOMG Uncensored BD release!". It was already laid out for us what we were expected to see.
it's sad how this is something Japan went completely backwards on as time passed
sadder still, how fanservice anime from the 80s managed to have better plots, less obnoxious characters, and more overall entertainment, even if you took the fanservice away!
About damn time they get this series together uncensored!

In Britain it often is, although movies like 9 Songs, Baise-moi, Romance, and Intimacy were given R-18 ratings as well.
In the US, R is used for movies like The Passion of the Christ, The Exorcist, Beverly Hills Cop, Saving Private Ryan, Rainman, Gladiator, The Godfather and countless others.
NC-17 has flicks like Bad Lieutenant, Wide Sargasso Sea, Crash ('96 Cronenburg one), Bad Education or Henry & June.

IMO, this show sucked the wax tadpole and isn't worth watching, even if there's tons of uncensored boobs. I only made it through the 1st 2 episodes, adn had to force myself to suffer through the 2nd just to make sure the 1st wasn't a fluke of a bad one. YMMV
