This show was one of the best in it's genre since a really long time. IT truly deserves a second season, let's hope DVD/BD sales permit it...
Agreed. I think it's the director, I remember Nyan Koi being a bit of a cliche storm, but the director managed to make a generic story really funny with good comedic timing and dialogue.
It also helps that Subaru here is, along with Kirino and Erio, probably the cutest three main heroines I've ever seen. She's also unusually forward and committal, which is a nice change from the usual.
I got ahold of the first blu ray and the upgrades were a bit underwhelming though. I hope they're a bit more thorough in adding panchira and maybe some toplessness from here on, or else it probably won't sell that well.
I prefer Kanade and Usami to Subaru though...

i watched the anime before i read the manga. i kinda regret that, since i got so used to the anime art style i never got used to the manga's art style...hope they do a second season
