    It is all depending on how and what style of art the artist used. Different style might give different impression. But the fact that the model used are quite beautiful, it becomes very hard for the artist to create a much better version that out stands the 3D version.

    21:09, The thing is even though some of the models are pretty hot, I see a lot of ways the artist can improve their picture. What I don't understand is why some of the actions in the 3D pic is different than the 2D pics... YOU HAVE A FUCKING PICTURE TO DRAW! JUST DRAW THE PIC EXACTLY THE WAY IT IS. For example the first pic has the 3D haruhi holding her legs and the 2D pic has haruhi pulling up her sock. Come the fuck on. It's not that hard to simply draw what you see.

    Why would anyone make a 2D out of a 3D? Even worse, making a 2D out of a 3D who is trying to copy a 2D? That's insane.

    2D are always better, THESE ONES can be made out of 3Ds, but 2D aren't based on 3D woman, they are made to be better, so they do not aim so low... You 3D WEEABOOS trashs are the ones trying to copy the 2D.

    Absolutely. Also note the 2Ds are copies of the 3D which means the 2D samples "need" the 3D images.

    I have to say that it's mostly because of the artists' individual style that may or may not put you off. For me, it's only creepy if they try to do a realistic trace with small eyes and accurate facial features.

    MOST OF YOU ARE IGNORING AN IMPORTANT POINT!

    We are comparing 2D to photos, which are often created with the help of heavy makeup beneficial lighting and often retouching.
    Or how Cindy Crawford one put it referring to a retouched photograph "even I don't look like Cindy Crawford..."
    Photos of beautiful 3D girls are often the result of more painting than the 2D counterparts.

    Not to forget that only the last three pictures display the true advantage of 2D:
    NOT being confined to what exists in reality!

    Comparing 2D drawings to photos is putting 2D in its most advantageous position.

    Get better artwork! A lot of the 3D photos are much more artistic than the lazy 2D pics! Many 3D photos here were nicely shot (angle, light, colors). You have to win a great artwork with greater artwork!

    Some of those 2D transformations didn't have much incoomon with the original 3D. Though that may be pretty disputable over the last 2 pics.

    On another note I think whoever has drawn 34 must be quite gutsy to upload a 2D pic thats FAR worse (not simply ibferrior like most of the rest) then the one it's supposedly based on.

    Why the 2D isn't that great? because every picture are trace back as from 3D to 2D. Most of 3D picture are naturally good as we seen it and the 2D picture are just Copy of the original so our brain denied it as true form. Why not coping a 2D picture into a 3D picture, you'll understand that the 2D look more natural.
