The “Chinese edition” of Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru has lately been attracting attention for any number of reasons – mostly relating to its rather spectacularly suspect cover…
Aside from being the world’s first UMDBDDVD9, the total lack of any connection to Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru (女僕咖啡廳 in Chinese) certainly puts the package firmly in “China quality” territory.

It'd be nice if PSP discs could store about 60 gigabytes. Maybe it'd have even longer games.
WAT longer games? have you even tried most of j-RPGs on psp? they are properly long.PERSONA 3 is on PSP and it's quite long game.recently been playing Legend of heroes: TiTs 15 hours in and with no end in sight.
larger games maybe, longer games I don't think so. huge ass world map/dungeon/cities, or extra long corridor

So it's a PSP game with a BD label in a PS2 DVD case... Not surprisingly, I'm sure most consumers wouldn't know the difference.
I can't help but wonder which joker would actually buy this knowing the package have a PSP and Playstation logo on top of it but it being a DVD... No, a UMDBDDVD9... LOL! New China quality media format... Has even 12 episodes to boot! Guess Nekomimi is the 'In' think now to attract unsuspecting customers...
UMD is a disc for psp, so its a dvd in short for playing it on the psp.
Also take note that the backside claims it is a BD-9 ...a 9 GB Bluray...which does not exist.

For the rest, it looks like pretty normal Chinese bootleg.
Also, ‘Maid Cafe’ has to be the most bland localised Chinese title for a Japanese anime ever.

In any case, "Maid Cafe" is a common theme. The anime simply used this term as its title. It's a valid choice of name, but the anime don't own the term.
As an anology, if you name your dog "New York," when someone talks of New York on the street, they're likely referring to the city, and probably don't even know about your dog.
The collaged together cover is likely ripoff of something, but not the anime.

the catgirl in the front looks awfully familiar to a K on image, as if it was a photoshop edit-filter. the other 2 look also rather familiar, but the

Too obvious to tell that they're just using random catgirl artworks from various artists as an art cover for a totally unrelated ('cept for the title) anime series. That's pretty much how those so-called Original Anime DVDs sold in Malaysia look like; the last time I saw a Kaze No Stigma DVD with "Zero No Tsukaima" written small under the main title, along with a cover art which is a mashup of Shakugan No Shana and Polyphonica.
