Lady Teacher Guilty of “Sexually Penetrating” Schoolgirl

A female teacher has been charged with sexually penetrating a 15-year-old schoolgirl under her tutelage.
The 38-year-old teacher taught geography at a secondary school in the English town of Colchester, where she struck up an eight month consensual sexual relationship with a 15-year-old female pupil during 2005 and 2006.
In July, 2011, she was arrested and charged with two counts of sexually touching a child under 16, one count of sexual assault by penetration and a further count of sexual activity with a child under 16 whilst in a position of trust.
She tearfully admitted the charges in court. Her defence is requesting she not be sent to prison, but the judge has not ruled out a custodial sentence; she has been released on bail and almost certainly faces the end of her teaching career and has already resigned from her latest teaching position.
In England the age of consent is 16, although until 2000 the age of consent was 18 for homosexual encounters. However, for sex involving a “position of trust” (i.e. a teacher and pupil) the age of consent is 18.
The relatively sympathetic treatment she has received has been compared unfavourably with the child rapist pariah status generally meted out to male offenders in similar cases in the UK…

Over here you arent allowed to have sex until you marry, which is average at 20 years of age. 18 is the "age of consent". Though this is only small parts of Asia. For the other parts, I dont know.

The AOC of 18 for homosexuals applied only to men. Until 2000, lesbians could technically do it at any age, but there were other laws that could be invoked if one partner (but not both) was under 16.

Sorry, but straight men accused of sex-related charges have it easy compared to gay people of either gender. Sex offending males often get hired again, even in teaching positions, and even if they caused harm and it was unconsentual.
