Ah, I thought Fate/Zero would be getting a movie rather than a series. ufotable did an awesome job on the Kara no Kyoukai movies, so I'll assume they'll do a better job than Studio Deen did with the first anime adaptation. Then again, Unlimited Blade Works was even more awesome and Studio Deen produced that, so...we'll see I guess.
Also looking forward to BokuTomo which looks to be the next OreImo (same studio and everything), and the second season of Working.
Hmm? Most people seemed to hate unlimited blade works for leaving out material and "not making sense" unless you read the VN.
I thought it was good, but lots hated it surprisingly.
well, it's true that it wouldn't make much sense if you havn't watched the first tv-series OR played the VN. But you could see it as a way for people to just do that.
But I guess haters gonna hate and life goes on.
Well, objectively, that movie was BAD. The animation and graphics were good, but the pacing, screenplay and the adaptation of the scenario were all terrible.
With more time (like two two hours movies, instead of a 90min one), and some good storyboarders, it would have been a good film.
Yet, Ufotable "understood" the ambiance of the Nasuverse, and they have people with actual talent. That's why Im convinced that F/Z adaptation will be way more epic than the UBW one.
It would've been fine if they focussed on one route from the start but they tried to cram everything into the first anime series of FSN.
For me i'm looking forward to shana, bokutomo (funnily enough i'd only read the manga not to long ago and it seemed different), and fate/zero.
I'm hoping another shana means another ZnT as well, maybe they're done fucking around and will actually give us plot this time.
Unlimited Blade Works was my favourite story in Fate/stay night, but the movie was a rushed, appallingly badly paced bodge job. Seriously, when you compress the first 1/4 or so of the game into a 10-second VOICE OVER you KNOW the pacing isn't going to be very good. And while I don't think it needed actual sex scenes, they should at least have made the scene between Rin and Shirou a bit more intimate. In the game it wasn't just a magic pact, it was also the point at which they were able to admit their feelings for each other, which was painfully watered down in the movie. Remember, UBW is the "Rin route" so letting the relationship take a back seat really hurt the film.
Also for killing my most favorite character.

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai is quite underrated. kind of expected it since its new but i just read the manga a couple of weeks ago and it was a blast. totally glad that it got an anime this season and the preview looked really clean.

I've seen far too many rom-com-harems fail to entertain me and I looked into quite a lot of them. While I did like a select few titles (e.g. Love Hina manga, Tenchi), the rest seemed only to exist for showing loads of little girls' underwear. And that is not good.
Also, remember this will be an AIC series, which means little girls in sexy poses will overshadow anything even remotely resembling a story or humour.
So yeah, draw your own conclusions.
Dont judge before you even read it. Its really funny. You will like the girls and stay for the humour.
Thats why I said read it. Some of the chapters of the novels are translated. But yeah who care about reading novels anyway.
Ufotable made sonic x and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, so I see no reason to be excited about Fate Zero.

Dunno why Boku ha Tomodachi ga Sukunai looks so familiar... but then again I give almost every show i possibly can 3-5 episodes to win me over, only exception to this temp list so far is Shana. Not having seen seasons 1 or 2 it looks like the only one I'll have to pass on for the time being since I hate watching things out of order.
Persona 4 deserves special mention... QUite possibly the first game I've ever put more than 100 hours into ever in my life... (well, there's more now, but that was my first)
Never have I seen such a wonderfully done story, character developement, pacing, etc, in a video game... Truly a masterpiece of a game. Can't hardly wait for this animation. Day one download(s), and if US release: Day one reservation, day one pre-order upgrade to limited edition set, day one marathon... Hell whatever I can get my hands on Persona 4 related, it's mine day damn one :D
Buruki did the original art of Boku wa tomodachi ga sukunai. He also did Denpa onna to seishun otoko so maybe thats why.
